AmiAmi will be my first go at ordering direct from Japan. I put G2 Bee on pre-order to be a test to see how it goes. Now I have 3 more things on pre-order with them. Gonna be a big test.
All you US residents, has customs been an issue? If they snag a package do they just charge you import tariffs? Just not sure what to expect.
Thanks.

Tried Big In Japan for Tracks - ordered 1. It was $55 shipped. Not bad.
Trying Anime Export for RR - ordered 2. Shipping estimates are nuts. It probably will cost $90 total inclusive of shipping, which is an amazing deal. Might do more with these guys.
AmiAmi puts me off due to the monthly shipping system; it makes me nervous for some reason.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Thanks Mega-T!
Care to elaborate on monthly system? Isn't it just like order stacking or POL?

Maybe it's just that I don't understand how it works. My impression is, yes, it functions similarly to POL, except at the end of the month it will auto-ship everything in said POL. At BBTS, you have 6 months or so before someone contacts you and says "you really outta ship this now." From what I understand, with AmiAmi, it all just ships at the top of the month.
People should feel free to correct me on that.
AmiAmi wrote:Combined Shipping
Items that are scheduled to be released the same month are eligible to be combined. Orders can be combined through the Combine orders by month link on your My Account page. In-stock and back-order items may be combined together, or with pre-order items scheduled to be released the current month. Please understand that we are unfortunately unable to combine items released in different months and our cart system will automatically split items ineligible to be combined into separate orders during the checkout process.

I see why this might make you nervous. I have Legends Magnus, due in mid-Sep. and Tracks late Sep. If tracks doesn't make it in on time the order could be split and I pay twice for shipping.
Well I will gladly be the litmus test on this, so we can see how it works.

Kind of beckons the question... does anyone really ever smile on cancellations, though?

I feel the same way but I have no clue who the character is, do you?

All she really needs at this point is a woman's voice coming out of her.cramoptimus maximus wrote:Im having a hard time convinving my eyes to see and believe this looks like a "female" robot. Its just not there... the rounder thighs and arms just dont do enough, it looks more like a teenage transformer.
