Regarding the Waruders.. I don't think I saw anything about it in this thread, but Warudaros Gigantor isn't the only Warudaros unit coming out. There's also a smaller "Warudaros Soldier Type" coming. Maybe that'll fill the "medium-size Waruder" role?

The Soldier-Type can also form a new arm for Gigantor, one that looks like the arms seen in the illustrations from a while back.

I wonder if they'll make an analog to the Walk Insectors.. Or if Raptorhead and Bughead are that analog.

Fun fact: Optimal Optimus' cockpit can fit the new Diaclone pilots pretty dang well

Story time!

When I moved into this current house I live in, and I was unpacking my G1 collection. I freaked out a little when I realized I was missing one of my original Dianauts. It was the one that came with the Diaclone Dinosaur Robo I got as a kid. I finally gave up in hopes that he would show up eventually.
He did! Months later as I unpacked my Beast Wars collection. Right there in the cockpit of Optimal Optimus.

Nice hiding spot! And a cool story I can relate to: I couldn't find 2 of my Titan Master heads after I moved, but then found them a few days later in the cockpits for Overlord and Sky Shadow

I know it's not directly related to the reboot... I've just been wondering if they might do the Fortress for Diaclone…. I can't imagine a figure larger than Wardrous or Big GV... But I guess that'd do it.


On a side note... the flip through the classic 1980s catalog... man... so many of those are nearly unrecognizable to the reboot figures. I know nostalgia and all that goodness but wow... I'd have a hard time really appreciating those classic designs/figures. Funny that i'm cool with the G1 "diaclone"... guess it's all perspective.


More on topic- wonder if Warduros is really dropping at the end of the month. I"m still blown away that in Kaiju mode he's barely taller than Dia Battles... but in demon form, towers over Big GV.

I'd like to see a better hanger/base set up for the diaclones, and I've been meaning to post pics of the FEXT Sci-fi diorama system.

Upon fulfilling my payment request to Ami Ami I received a message about shipping restrictions from Japan to the US. I went ahead and had them change the method to DHL. So there will be a slight delay. But hey, I've waited this long. What's another week or two?

Can't wait for this terrible thing to rise from the sea and lay waste to the tiny Earth beings!!!!
If only there was an Earth defense organization to protect us from these evil invaders.

I cancelled that little Triverse upgrade type suit, the red one. Just doesn't feel like my taste for the price. I still plan to get the Triramber though, so it and Triverse can be a duo

I got a feeling I'll be kicking myself not getting the Tri-Rambler... it just... doesn't blow my mind like the first three.

As far as the "red" jet add-on... they got me with the Military/Black repaint. Waiting to see what the alternate is for the blue/land cannon set.

The box is heavier, and bigger than it looks. Definately the heaviest so far. Do you guys want box comparisons with Big-GV etc? I'll be opening it tomorrow after work.
