Sigh....Why does it always have to be this way. I have a pretty firm grasp of "Salvation". Do you have a understanding of cross-typing, rejection, anti-rejection drugs for the rest of your life, the insane complexity of that type of operation.

For some reason it just didn't sit well with me, and I heard several others on the way out of the theater saying the same thing. I liked Marcus much better than John though, and I think the resistance could survive the death on Connon. I know he is the main focus of all the movies really, but as we've seen the future is constatly changing in the Terminator Universe. Wouldn't that make it all the more ironic if Skynet's own creation became the new leader of the resistance and ultimately brought them down?

No, it would make a temporal paradox if Connor had died. John Connor must survive long enough to send Kyle back in time or it will be one of the biggest plotholes ever!

It is NOT. The only action is at the end. this is a waste of time and money, as I've said before. If you're not a Terminator fan (and even if you are) this is not recommended. Horrible movie. No story, no good acting, and it's slow.

I dont know what movie you saw, there is action in the first 10 minutes,
the whole 7/11 harvester scene
the road/ canyon stuff.
THe fight after marcus gets out, and then the end.
Seems you may have a little bit of robot envy.

Exactly. The only time I thought it went slow was when the only time there wasn't action and that was when Marcus and whatshername were sitting down at the fire.
This movie is action-packed.

It had no bearing, once again are you sure you werent watching something else? Lets see, There was the search for young kyle reese so that john could keep an eye on him so that the events come full circle. There was the development of the robots and the progression from 8 foot tall rubber bots to full fledged cyborgs. There was john coming face to face with the type of bot that would eventually haunt his own mother and lead to his very own creation. There is the "salvation" that a death row inmate that was modified in order to once again lead to the death of john connor ends up saving his "soul" so to speak and sacrificing his existance for the greater good, and the irony of his enemies creation helping to save his life.

And the movie was just shy of 2 hours so it wasnt too long by anymeans imo
