Is there a club i can join. Where they HATE gay TF fics and girls who CONSTANTLY write themselves into the story. ITS ALWAYS GIRLS. Desperate and messed up girls! JAZZ WOULD NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU. I don't care if he was given the option to either be ripped to shreds by the sharkticons or go on a date with you.

I admit this is a bit of a rant... but seriously. Is there a club like this or something? Or maybe a place where canon characters ARENT GAY or suddenly in love with lonely and desperate fangirls?

I TOTALY sympathise. I absolutely cannot stand those stories. I mean I can't say a thing for people enjoying fantasy, I mean we all do, thats why we're HERE, but I still can't stand little girls having established characters falling in love, and of course it has to be a perfect relationship, with the odd cliche issue like a jealous third person (also gay) or something, you know? Can't stand it.

Aww... Man, see that sucks! I cant go to fanfiction.com and look for decent fics to read. Cuz 95% of them of just like that! And I bet you 50% of those girl never knew about TF before they watched the movie, and are writing OOC TFs.

There should be atleast a Slash website for them and then a clean side for the non-homo fanfics.

I found this link on encyclopedia dramatica and it says that this is full of people that hate TFslush, I don't know if it's true cos you have to create a profile before viewing.

I hear you there, man. It's especially annoying when the author *does* have a good grasp of writing and the characters aside from the slash part, and doubly so when it's favorite characters who don't get much fanfic about them. (Since it leaves you tempted to read anyway, and wishing they wrote more non-slash stuff.)

Mary Sues/Gary Stus are at least easy to explain... just newbie authors who haven't yet realized that personal fantasies are best left in one's head (or at most on your own hard drive). Slash I've never understood the appeal of, though.

Yeah I hate slash and mary sues too. It's the same way with Inuyasha fanfics, you either have 2 guys humping each other or inuyasha, sesshomaru, miroku or all 3 falling in love with some pathetic bitch who wrote herself into the story thinking that that's how it would really happen. Half the stories at fanfics are just 13 year old girls putting their wet dreams into text format. I think fanfic needs to ban half its members as they cant write decent literature to save their lives, it's sad.

I started off by writing myself into fanfics so I can't possibly say I hate those people, or I would hate myself. When they get a little older they will go back over what they've done and realize what a huge mistake it was. But I certainly don't think a club dedicated to hating them is necessary. Nobody is forcing me to read their work so I'm content to let them mature on their own, and let them have their fun in the mean time. Putting yourself, or your ideal version of yourself, into a world like that is good fun practice, but should never be taken too seriously.

As for Slash however, as a heterosexual male I couldn't possibly comment.

What annoys me more then slush stories, cos as Tekka said I can ignore them, are pics with said content, cos it's harder to ignore a picture then words that describe that scane, just type into Deviantart stuff like:

Y'know, people like to complain about the necesssity of female Transformers. I for one think they should take it a step further and show pregnant females. Maybe then, those fangirls will stop drawing Optimus pregnant!

Do you have ANY clue how many pregnant Prime's are on DevArt? I mean ones made on the Sims 2? I was looking at some pictures gathered from DevArt by one user of the TF meshes in the Sims 2 and nearly all of them were pregnant Primes or Starscreams...

Unbelievable... I mean.. WHY?!

I blame public schools for not properly illustrating the functions transformer re-production. Although the partents should be the ones to be explaining the "Airazors and the Waspinators" to their kids.

A lot of times I have noticed that the most common TF Mary Sues tend to be Seekers. I don't know what it is about Seekers that makes them Mary Sue material.

I don't know what's so apealing with that stuff, and I think Legacy of Kain slush is more disturbing, since the main character in there are um dead and thousands of years old, yet still people want to have sex with Kain, Raziel and the elder god.........

People are weird, if they write about having sex with some thousand year old vampire/being/god thingie.
Look at the bright side.... at least noone has written about aliens and predators yet.. (I hope. because that would just be... sick.)

That is very simple. The Seekers have sleek attractive designs, are powerful, and are extremely popular. And the fact that there were extra Seekers left, right and center in MTMTE gives every budding author the justification they need to write themselves in under the guise of a Seeker.
