Well, what's more important to you, the microns that make up the shield, or the awesome RiD Scourge-homage deco? Personally, I'd jump on Nemesis if I were to pick one of those two.

The microns are nice for sure, but I am leaning toward Nemesis, just love the dark deco. Wish they sold the shield and canon separately.

For me its more about the detail in the figure mold and the dark decore just grabs my attention more.

I only recently started picking up the AM series of figures over the Hasbro ones.

AM-33, 30, 31, and 24.

They do...or they did, dunno if you'll still be able to find them easily. The shield consits of Pral, Sais, and Jayz.

What cannon are you referring to? O.P.?

The shield is sold separately, albeit in different colors (red, grey and blue, like Optimus Prime!). Look for AMW-07 Pral, AMW-08 Sais, and AMW-09 Jayz. Like Final Battle Megatron's Microns are sold separately, under AMW-01 Gabu, AMW-02 Baru and AMW-03 Dai. Again, in different colors, but the clear black looks way cooler.

I can add that O.P. comes in different colors, but your easiest bet is the AMW-13 Advanced Star Saber. Also nets you 1 and 2/3 of a Super Combo Weapon ;)

EDIT: ninja'ed... And I want my Ulma!

CapturedPrey has the Autobot micron set (which is fantastic) and Sais in stock, but not Pral or Jayz I'm afraid.

Big Bad has all three components in stock, as well as a bunch of others. If you like the microns, look into Zori M (Soundwave/Terrorbee's micron), I'm really a fan of that mold. They have the Autobot and Decepticon sets as well, but they're asking a good deal more for them. I'm a huge fan of Gabu/Baru/Dai who combine into the sword also. :)

Edit: It's a shame Ulma didn't get included in the Autobot micron set, that looks like a great mold.

Are they the same scale as the Voyager scale? Just curious the figures I mean.

I'm not sure what your question is..? All the microns are about the same size, if that's what you're asking.

If you're talking about the Microns, the ones in the AMW-series are stand-alone, no bigger figures. Think of them as a cheaper alternative ;)

Sorry I meant is the Hasbro Prime the same scale as the AM OP Prime's? I have never seen them in person. Photos only tell you so much you know.

Same mold, same height. The Hasbro one only misses a few of the ports to attach Microns to, but no big loss, at least for me.

It's the same mold, in fact. Scroll down a bit for the version with the shield.

Ok. I dont want the Hasbro Megatron anyway, I like the AM-33 and AM-15 ones a bit more color combination wise. And the Dark Energon one has a certain appeal as well. But the new one coming this month or next Sharkticon Megatron doesnt interest me currently.

See they make so many variations and for once they dont all suck, so its a hard choice, I really dont want to spend 60 or more per figure and then have to go collect all the little parts to that I want!

Its such are hard decision when I see this guy in Hi-Res he is giving me that look that says you know you need me in your collection how could you say no!

sounds like your best bet would be the Nemesis bot, then the AMW Microns. I've got all the ones released as AMWs and they're great.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Got them in the mail yesterday from BBTS. Beautiful figures both Nemesis Prime and Final battle Megatron. I also grabbed a Springer 30 Year from TRU since they were finally in stock. My collection continues to grow....
