That never happened. BotCon Oilmaster got Construct-Bots weapons, but that's it. Movie Advanced Ratchet and Starscream got theirs from Beast Hunters Simplified Bumblebee and Smokescreen, respectively.

Nightracer's bio describes Shakar as being able to shoot flammable chemicals, presumably repurposing the mold original claw-based weapon mode now as some kind of ranged weapon mode, with a little imagination.

Agreed. They could have done the same as with next year's Impactor and loaded her up with Arcee's weaponry (or just her guns even) or maybe blurr's sniper rifle... actually, rattrap's guns (which I assume are a different sprue from everything but part of the head and the bomb) or skids' guns (which are more likely to be on a sprue with body parts) would be really good fits for her.

Bummed the free figure wasn't Redwing. The Tailgate repaint could grow on me if we could get a proper Tailgate from the scout class Generations Windcharger. Then Ill feel like the mold is for a totally new character instead of another IDW abomination.

They aren't gonna release another Tailgate from an older mold after just releasing a new mold for the character.

Redwing would have been pretty funny though, since it would have had to have been from Legends Starscream, he would have been the tiniest seeker compared to the other two we got this year. Just got my figures today. I feel like I've been spoiled with boxes delivered intact up to now, as this one came with one of the sides of the box torn off, but figures are thankfully undamaged and pristine. I love nightracer, even without a new head. Gonna try out Rattrap and Crosscut's guns with her tomorrow. Will take pics.

Careful, either the gun or rattraps' hands are mismolded so he cannot hold it without cracking his palms...

There's been a good bit of this recently! Aside from all the other stuff mentioned, there's been Platinum Predaking including the Star Saber that came with Beast Hunters Optimus Prime, Botcon Alpha Trizer coming with the swords from Go!'s Kenzan, and the Combiner Hunters coming with weapons from Beast Hunters Prime and (I think) the electronic RiD 2015 OP and Bumblebee Titan figures. Those are just what I can think of off the top of my head right now, but yeah, that's been happening a good bit and I think it's cool.

To be fair to the case of Alpha Trizer, Go Prime (the black redeco of the Thundertron mold) had previously come with Kenzan's swords in his Takara release as well.

Yes, because a complete generic who appeared in the background of ONE PANEL of a comic deserves a toy more than Nightracer, who not only was created by one of the original BotCon people, but also, you know, actually has a backstory and wasn't only named because some pushy fan kept nagging the comic artist.

I mean, if we were to get yet another use out of the Seeker mold it should be the Air Warriors from the cartoon pilot. If you honestly want a Red Wing that badly then get a cheap Classics Seeker and repaint it yourself.

My Gatoraider had the end piece of its tail assembled upside-down but that was an easy fix.

Don't know what other thread to ask, but is anyone else's Seprent O. R. misassembled? Mine came with two left landing gear pieces.

The landing gear on mine is fine ( I forgot the mold even had landing gear, tbh).

It is. But I like it better like this for the combined mode, which is how I'm leaving Krok on my shelves for now.

Just tried the combined weapon. It is awesome.

But, I don't like how the tail gets in the way of Krok's shoulder when laying flat, so I folded it up to have the energon crystal face forward like a lens or an eye or something, and pointed the tip of the tail forward. Still looks good.

Awesome, had they advertised that, he probably would've sold out much faster online, and probably would've been that extra nudge people needed to order the set.
