What does G1 have to do with Digimon? If you're referring to the first series, it's called "Adventure".Blurrz wrote:New Digimon Sux. G1 is de best.

Unlike the vast amount of TF series, there exist only five Digimon TV series: Adventure, Adventure 02 (A.K.A. Adventure Zero Two or simply "Zero Two" for short), Tamers, Frontier, and Savers. The English dubs called these series Season 1, 2, 3, 4, and Digimon Data Squad (not "Season 5", surprisingly). Each series, except the last two, got two movies each (Forntier and Savers got one each, and the X-Evolution movie is a standalone film). Though, there are also some manga series (one or two of which pre-date the first anime), and many video games too.Blurrz wrote:There's so many different names from the Digimon series that'll give me a headache.

Even still, the blue would've made one sweet Digivolving action figure.Blurrz wrote:I believe he was turned red so he wasn't confused with the regular Kabuterimon.

I mean, sure the red one we got was good (even if it was bright red instead of maroon red), but the blue would've blended in better with the Kabuterimon parts.
Unfortunately, it's in a bin (along with rest of my large Digimon toy collection) that is quite difficult to get out. But, I did a Google search for images of said toy and found these two pics:Blurrz wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Even still, the blue would've made one sweet Digivolving action figure.Blurrz wrote:I believe he was turned red so he wasn't confused with the regular Kabuterimon.

Damn, you have that one? That one eluded me. Mind taking some pics?

A running gag, I guess.ceratoformers3 wrote:So, I'm watching the first few episodes of Data Squad on Youtube, and I have this to say. Why is that giant birds always attack Agumons in crowded cities and get pwned by some form Greymon? It happened in that one movie, and it happened in the the first episode of Data Squad.

ARe you referring to the BGM played when Agumon became GeoGreymon and pummeled Kokatorimon? Then yeah, that's the song played for the Child/Rookie to Adult/Champion evolutions. The ones where they become Perfect/Ultimate, Ultimate/Mega, and Burst Mode get different and better songsfor themselves.ceratoformers3 wrote:Is it that one song they play during DigiVolution sequences and key moments?

The only English dub DVDs of Dgigmon ever released were the first 13 episodes of seasons one, the horrendous dub movie (which is just movies 1-3 hacked up and joined together), and a set of episodes 1-13 of Data Squad.
Okay, that last one is a boxset, but still no Digimon series has ever been fully released on DVD in English in the U.S.
But I'm okay with that cuz I prefer the Japanese versions. Of which I have already downloaded all of Adventure, Frontier, Savers, and all nine movies subbed in English. Still waiting on Adventure 02* and Tamers.
*While Adventure 02 has already been officially and fully subbed by Toei, their subbed aren't for free and contain some Dub terms that should be present. Another group, however, is fixing these subs and is releasing them for free.

A good website that lists nearly all official DVD releases of TV series would be TVShowsOnDVD.com. It's missing some things in its listings, but it's a pretty helpful source.
ceratoformers3 wrote:Okay then, I'm nearly done watching Data Squad, only six episodes left to go, and I have a few comments.
*ElDradimon's agonized cries as he was impaled by the Gizumon Javelin were so sad. And the fact that Baromon's last words were in vain cause Marcus failed to save ElDradimon were sad as well.
*The episode where MirageGaogamon Burst Mode premiered was really deep and moving, but the one with Ravemon Burst Mode and Rosemon Burst Mode seemed kind of rushed in the Burst Mode part.
*Shawjamon seems to bring TMNT to mind. He is a ninja turtle, just not teenage or mutant.
*Lilamon=Lilymon

It's near the series end. But all he says is something like, "Do you feel that?" and that's it. But it's awesome nonetheless.ceratoformers3 wrote:He does? Which episode? Gah, even Magnamon and Dynasmon did more then him. I haven't seen Omnimon do anything yet, but it's only a matter of time. Gallantmon, Leopardmon/Duftmon, LoadKnightmon/Crusadermon did some stuff. And they just love Craniamon.

After reading the Digimon Next manga, where they are all heavily featured (minus Darkdramon), here's what I have to say about each of them. Bombmon is surprisingly deadly for a Baby I, Missimon is a lethal Baby II, Commandramon ain't no wannabe Agumon, Sealsdramon is tough (if kinda weird-looking), and Tankdramon is BEAST! Sadly, there was no Darkdramon in the ranks of the Commandments.ceratoformers3 wrote:So, what are your thoughts on the Commandramon line? Tankdramon is cooler then Tankmon in my opinion.
