Saw the transforming AT-TE and Torrent Fighter at K-Mart on Friday.

They look nice - more Transformery than the original figures in the line - but still too pricey.

I keep buying these hoping they will get better...and they dont't.

Alt modes are great, bot modes are garbage. I have the At-TE, and Torrent, and neither is really any good.

The Star Tours Experiance

I just wanted to show how the experiance of this ride is for those that are too far to visit Disney World or Disneyland

I live about 2 hours away from Disney World and was at the Hollywood studios this past weekend

I unfortunatly didn't go on this time around but I have been on it many times

So here is the first video of the entrance and what you see when you come in

These aren't my videos but I will be going to Star Wars Weekneds in June and I will record the parade and more of Star Tours

Part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8enLoloPUBw&NR=1

Ok part 2 is the ride itself your on the shuttle and your feeling the ride as you go

Part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYGhi0M2E90

Now as a bonus I came across this history of Star Tours that shows thwhole entire experiance at the Disney World complex at the Hollywood studios (The one I hit ):P I like it best since it has the walker in front of the entrance

part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnMsizn8FGY

part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rye01xCG ... re=related

part 3

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTmuTPbl ... re=related

There is one difference from this last video

You will see at the end of the ride it leads out to the Endor Bunker store

They remodeled it and now its the Tatooine Traders

Found the Target exclusive Sarlacc Pit Battle Pack for $13 today. Sadly not much else. Still no sightings of the new wave of Clone Wars blast it.

Two waves ago they were pretty good. I got the Clone Tank/Cody and the Snowspeeder/Luke. The new Grevious is ok but I remember the plastic being to soft.

Motto: "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings to randomly click things in the Admin Panel to see what it breaks."
The book release schedule is pretty slack these days, nearly finished Outcast which leaves not much for me to read.

So i'm looking at and picking some of the more older books that I skipped over.

Of course i'm a little hesitant to do so because I don't really care to read stories around Clone Wars time, we all know how it ends and I tend to not like the characters in such books.

So i'm leaning towards either the Republic Commando series or the Coruscant Nights series.

Any reviews or recommendations on these?

Always been into Star Wars, just never got into the toys and it's always taken a backseat to TF's.

Started reading the Expanded Universe books 13 years ago and have amassed a fair sized collection of novels since.

Found the green Clone Trooper Officer, so I now have all four. I was starting to wonder if there was going to be a green one, because there was one a couple years ago. I had it but the leg broke and knowing my luck I'd never have the chance to find another one.

Haven't seen much of anything new for SW. I did see (once) the new wave from Clone Wars but was picking up other stuff so I had to wait. Haven't seen anything since and that was a few weeks ago.

Coruscant Nights. Definitely go for Coruscant Nights. They're good books, written in the style of old pulp fiction. Since you don't like Clone Wars stories, I would avoid Republic Commando books. Hard Contact and Triple Zero might be good, but True Colors and Order 66 aren't as well done, mostly because by then, Karen Traviss' habit of portraying Mandalorians and Gary Stu's as Jedi (except her OC ones) as incompetent morons is in full swing, and makes it difficult to enjoy them on a purely superficial level, which also make her LOTF books (Bloodlines, Sacrifice and Revelation) painful to read, as well.

Oh, and don't bother reading the rest of Fate of the Jedi. If Omen (and the spoilers for Abyss) are any indication, it's going to suck hard.
