I mean it's simple enough, he comes to Earth for the cyber planet keys, he's in the cybertronian format, which he later becomes the fire truck version, the cybertronian format version which could have been an upgraded version of the Titanium's one, in Voyager class complete with trailer..
Image

that would have been a cool toy, instead of that crappy titanium version with crummy paint job and diecast that never stood in one place...

Note: I had to modify the title to incoporate the excellent debates we are now engaged in...

QFT, the entire WW series deserved better than the titanium line.

Maybe they would have received better treatment if the WW comic series had actually wrapped up.

Actually Skywarp-2, The design of Cybertron Starscream is not identical to his final War Within appearance. IT is based more on Don's initial concept sketch of a generic Seeker. War Within Starscream has a much different transformation, as seen in these two pictures.

yeah the designs are pretty close, in fact they are so close it almost makes you think that Hasbro was going for that look on purpose...

well you know in all honesty, the entire Cybertron Toyline has kind of a complete G-1 feel to it, and it almost seems that the series was destined to stand alone in Japan, the Unicron Trilogy Bit that we gave it here was a cool idea.. but if you look at Galaxy Force/Cybertron toys by themselves, thy kind of stand alone in quality and design and really bring out the G-1 and subsequent toylines, like Beast Wars, ect.. all into one focus..

I guess what I'm saying is, that the Armada and Energon series are great, but no where near what was brought into the Cybertron series..It was like War Within, G-1, Beast Wars and so on, all rolled into one show..

I second that, the Cybertron line was the first line I fully completed save for the one or two stinkers amongst all the great molds.

It was a well thought out, quality, original line that continally produced great mold after great mold.

If I could only get a region 1 Japanese DVD set of the series so I didnt have to suffer through the American dub....

No way.

I completely disagree.

The trilogy exists as a whole. The differences in design are there, but are relatively insignifcant. I have the pictures to back this up too. You could place almost any bot from any of the three lines in any mix and it would work. (With few, but noticable exceptions of A. Hotshot, E. Ironhide, and C.Backstop etc.)

ok, they can set next to each other and still look good, but what I'm talking about is a series as a whole. I mean Armada by itself as a whole toyline next to Energon works..But the clear and decisive winner would be Galaxy force, which I belive was originally concieved to be by itself, which explains why it is soo much better in the Detail and concept, because they weren't continuing it as Energon or Armada, it was supposed to be a new series, which in my opinion made the designers attack the toys with a new sense of vigour and upped the design quality as if this was to usher in a new series that could be expanded on..

It's not a bad thing, Energon an Armada are great series, but Cybertron just had great molds almost all the way!!

It was done on purpose. Don Figueroa was the desiner for both the War Within Seekers and Cybertron Starscream. That is the connection. ar Within Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, are all variants on his original generic Seeker design. HE simply desided later to individualize their transformations and appearances. For Cybertron Starscream, he went back to his original generic Seeker diesign and tweeked it a little.
