To download Superlink episodes

Postby Grazcon » Sat Sep 08, 2007 11:36 am

It's been long long time since I last had a chanse to download any transformers episodes. Now that I have (thanks to better pc) I have no idea where to find some.

So, where do you people find Superlink episodes? And no - I don't mean Energon episodes. Superlink, original japanese episodes with subtitles in english.

(And for anyone trying to tell me that Energon and Superlink are the same - they're not.)

So yeah, information appreciated, thank you. :grin:

TV-Nihon has a load of fan subbed TF episodes (along with lots of other Japanese stuff), mind you due to tracker problems they've had to re-post a lot of the older series, but Superlink should be up by now.

Just click on the "Bittorrent" link on the top of the page, oh and I should point out that they use Torrents, so you need a client to download them (Utorrent is one of the better ones), if you need help on them, just use Wikipedia.

Its ok to ask for subbed Jap stuff, TV-Nihon have been doing subbing for years and no one has kicked up a stink, and its not like they sell these eps, its just fan subbing for fans, so they can enjoy something they normally wouldn't.

Afraid not, unless you searched for Energon, but Superlink episodes are not on Veoh, or Youtube for that matter, and anyways Grazcon wants to download them on his computer, not just watch them online.

What's the difference between Superlink and Energon, aside from the language.

Well believe me I've just checked and Superlink, subbed or not, is not on there, must have been removed since the last time you looked. :-?

And anyways the question is about finding them subbed to download, and yes I'm aware that you can download them off of Veoh, but getting them From TV-Nihon means they will be higher quality, if Veoh does what Youtube does and makes the quality worse to make the video smaller to put online

Well The Energon sub is not just a plain sub, they cut and moved some stuff around from Superlink, and sometimes made a TF say something that didn't make sense with how he acted in the Superlink version.

Tv-nihon only has the firts 19 episodes. I was hoping to find the last ten or twenty but.. These'll do until they upload the rest.

...That is if they upload them.

Anyway, thanks guys! :D

Yes, in other words the americans completely rewrote it. They made Energon funnier than Superlink, but they also ruined most of my favourite characters and caused a bunch of scenes that didn't make any sense. And this is not the only series that has gotten the same treatment.

Basically it can be explained using the following equations:

Superlink = win.
Energon = Superlink - win + lose.

Even in this day and age, shows are never translated exactly as intended. I know it can be pretty hard to match exactly what is being said, but the Hasbro Dub of Superlink doesn't even try.

Tv-Nihon have a pack going from episode 39 to 51, that includes the special episode as well.

Slowly getting it, as I missed it the first time round due to horrible download speeds.
