To Open or Not to Open
that is the question...
Okay, so I have had an 08 movie bumblebee figure for a while now and have not yet opened him. I also have 2 74' bees one of which I have opened. From my collection so far, he is the only figure that I have not transformed before. What should I do? Search for another one and open one, or keep him MIP

Open him.
He is one of the more fun figures to transform and play with.
You should be able to find one to keep minty in the not too distant future.

Open him!
Don't let poor, ol' BB suffocate in that plastic!
Seriously, any deluxe that is better articulated and detailed than a $90 equivalent (Ultimate BB) is worth opening.

Whatever you want to do, that is what you should do.
I will say however that I believe you can not truly appreciate a Transformer until you have transformed it.

LOL no you're not. you really won't appreciate this toy unless you play with it. i believe in the future, restocks will allow you to get another one for MISB keeping purposes. i had two concept BB's already and i opened both of them (sold the other one) and i never regretted it.

all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

The most obvious question is: is your entire collection MISB or open?
If your main collection is MISB-biased, then don't open him. If he really is going to swamp the toy rack - which I still don't believe will happen for ALL of us - then you can buy that one to keep. you don't want a complete MISB collection with just this one obvious gap.

Yes, that's right. give him some freedom and give yourself some appreciation.

Well if that is the case hold out another couple of weeks until you can get yourself another figure to keep boxed up. it's a win win then.

Do you enjoy looking at the sealed box more than you would enjoy playing with the toy and having it on display? If yes, don't open. If not, definitely do. You will not get rich from selling your unopened Bumblebee. The question is how much will you enjoy what you have.

Do as you wish with the '74s.
For the Concept Bumblebee, your only options are as follows:
1) Open it.
2) Sell it to me, and I will open it.
That is all. Unless you'd simply like to donate rather than sell.

I've always opened my Transformers. The way I see it if you want to sell them eventually when they increase in value in a few years then keep the MISB. But if you're like me and like to look at them, transform them and other such things then open him up and have fun!
