Im working on my own transformer story. Its an idea Ive been kicking around for a bit. Its a story taking place before the great war between decepticons and autobots, after they banished the Quintessons. Which its set put some more background into events of that time, and possibly put some more detail into other TF related history. (my own micro-continuity of course hehe. A mixture of G1, the new movie, and other things.)
That being said, I figured id give people a chance submit their own as possible characters to be added, since Im trying come up with as many original transformers for the story. Which I'll credit anyone elses creations I use.
I m flexible to what exactly gets submitted. I have only a few guidlines for it. One you need an original name. Cant be an existing transformers name if possible. (I might repeated myself as theres some lesser known ones I might unknowingly picked, which some series redefine old names but Im aimming not reuse them.) Which the name cant have the word prime in it. Thats a title for important leaders only. Otherwise the skys the limit, if it sounds like a good name I might use it.

- faction, decepticon, autobot,neutral(before the split) or other, insert type. (such as enemy of cybertron saying you wanna be a bad guy of the story which isnt limited to autobot or decpeticons.) Both Cons and bots are allied at the moment,at atleast on the surface so its cool be either one. Though theres subfactions( came up with a dozen or so of them) with in them that have much infighting since the war with the Quints. Such as vechicons are a subfaction of decepticons lead by motormaster, and part of black market and trade cartel. They re at odds with the main decepticons army and autobot security forces since they break the law often,but have members of the senate in their pocket.
- About the stats, try keep it 60 or less. We cant all be megatron or optimus prime hehe. Otherwise pick whatever seems right as a gage to what sort of bot you got.
- Size, I try gage off the movies as a guideline for their height as a meter stick to my own(such as Prime 30 feet, ratchet is 20, bumblee bee is 16, Arcee is 9 , frenzy is 2 roughly), but you dont have uphold exact scale by any means.
-Alt form, its before earth, so describe it as some cybertronian vechile of sorts and its intented function. You can list an earth form too to give a better image of what its supposed to be and color scheme.
- Status, basically what is your restrictions if any on the character. Whether I can have them killed(may be you want them to survive here and tie your own story to this one.), how badly I can have them banged up, or need be killed lol(you might think its fun make a character with a deathwish heh).I respect peoples work, so I will take this into account when I use the character.
-profile, their history and who they are. simple enough heh.

-Profile- In the wake of the Quintesson war, a new generation of decepticons ranks is forming. Many of this new breed are increasingly violent and egotistical. This putting a rift between autobots and decepticons alike.
In an effort to patch relationships war hero Skyshadow, a well renowned air commander along with optimus prime are assembling a joint operatation. Skyshadow is of the older cast, and tries uphold the ideal of what decepticons are supposed be, the knights of cybertron, its sword against its enemies. Hes the decepticon all autbots wish decepticons were, but unfornately he seems be a dying breed.
To help lead this unit hes selected Starbreaker, a smaller scrappier scout to aid as one of his lieutenants. He needed a decepticon who wasnt prone blasting an autobot without just cause or reason, and Starbreaker was amoung his short list of candidates. Trying be more like his mentor, he tries surpress the violent nature for the greater good. While he isnt as violent as his brethen, he is very much a decepticon at heart, and will fight to prove himself. Due to his size, he often has to as most other seekers have little respect for him and try push him around.
Skyshadow feels he has potential and has backed off the wolves for now. This has gained the interest of another rising officer Starscream, as he seeks use starbreaker as pawn on the way to the top, or ruin him if he gets in his way.
In middle of a tangled web, Starbreaker and his friends are in way deeper than any of them realize, as bigger forces are at work in the cybertronian universe.
So see what every who cares submit posts. I cant promise to use everything, but Ill do my best honor those I see a spot in my story with. Its all for fun, as Im not getting paid do this, so thought some people here who are major transformers fans might like be involved in this too, and hopefully will wanna read the finished product when Im done. Its something Ive been kicking around awhile, I feel I need hurry about get going already. (I dont want anything happens in the movie to influence my ideas, or be accused of copying it, so I wanna beat that release date heh.)
I got an outline started, and a fair sized list of chaarcters I thought up already. I just thought I could use a few more with a bit more depth and personality in the backgroud even if they dont have a major role, makes it easier to give them a feeling when they talk or act. Ill check back later and see what comes up.
