I need some suggestions for my 4yr nephew.
His birthday is tomorrow. He loves all my Transformers figures even though he cannot transform them properly. I got him a rescue bot Optimus Prime figure before.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

I concur, Bot Shots are a good way to show him the diversity of the brand. And anybody can play Rock-Paper-Scissors, right? Get two singles or a 3-pack to quickly start off a game.
Alternatively, the Cyberverse line may be a good idea to look into, since your nephew got acquainted to your collection

Alternatively, the Cyberverse line may be a good idea to look into, since your nephew got acquainted to your collection. They're smaller representations of major characters and easier to transform, and they're cheaper. How much is he into dragons or dinosaurs?
He loves MechaGodzilla and wanted to take home my MP Grimlock.
I will look into the Bot Shots.
Thanks!

As said- Bot Shots. Both my daughters don't care about TF's, save for Bot Shots. They're simple, sturdy and make for an easy game.

I'll add one more vote for Botshots. My little nephew is 3 years old and loves them. I also bought him a few Rescue Bots, but he honestly prefers the Botshot figures for some reason.
So yea, aside form the Botshots, keep an eye out for the newer Rescue Bot figures (they have some clear blue plastic thing going on now, and even come with weapons). Can't say I'd recommend anything beyond that, unless he likes the non-transforming Transformers cars/robots.

You got your answer right there, buddy. ALL normal Transformers are for 5yo+. But that's just for security reasons. The real age would be at least 7yo+ because of the challenge of the toy.
Did your boy loved his Optimus? If yes, get him some more Rescue Bots. In roughly 2 or 3 years, if it's still interest him, then move on to the normal TFs.
Oh yeah, that remote controlled Bumblebee is cheap, great fun, and could be great for a 4yo.

I'd reccommend Rescue Bpts over Bot Shots, honestly, they're simpler and work more reliably, and they seem sturdier. Of the Recue Bots molds, I think Boulder is probably best.
