The face is a bit Predator-ey isn't it? A little transmission in the back of my mind suggests that if there actually is going to be a Dinobot prescence in this third film we may perhaps be looking at it.Though up to 4 other similar faces should have been spotted if this was really a Dinobot,so...propably not.

Experience shows us that all the characters for the second film recieved a Gargoyles type look...and with the horns on Shockwave maybe there's some kind of Barbarian look creeping into the bot modes of this film? Barbarians versus Mythological monsters kinda?

I can't imagine which Decepticons might arrive together with Shockwave or what
Autobots may also appear to thwart him, but this face makes me think of an ancient,lone hunter rather than a groupie type. Maybe the designers just got back from watching Predators when they drafted it, maybe this SPECIFIC character needs a SPECIFIC stand-apart look, and hair is part of the whole angle.Scientific looking? Maybe, but how much so in comparison to any other sentient machine. Resourceful? Definitely more self assured than the regular bot face. Dangerous? Yup! But is he moving with Shockwave or at him? I doubt this is the look they settled on for Silverbolt...people's calls for Vector Sigmas and Alpha Trions may perhaps have been accurate...

come on people give bay a break if so many of you hate his transformers movies then stop paying attention to the newsand dont bother with the filmsi personally enjoy them i think the alrght some of the characters do look odd namely the twins and this guy (i think he might be kup just to let you know)but you still have to admit te designs are kinda impressive especially devastators designin rotf i enjoy the film regardless of how irritating a character may be, i enjoy the action scenes in both and i dont care that devastator was an over sied gorilla or that jetfire was old or even that some characters would just dissapear from the plot to return at the end

Trust me, you're waging a losing battle here. People are going to hate and vilify this man 'til the end of time. It doesn't matter that he could possibly be a nice guy just doing his job. I'll bet these same people who complain would be starstruck if they saw him in person. They'd shake his hand, be all excited, and then as soon as it was over, they'd come online and spew bitter diatribes about him, no matter how kind he was to them.

The fandom is full of crazies and two faced people. No, I have no problem saying that and making a blanket statement.

As for the designs? No, they don't have to admit. And they won't. In fact, that's one of their biggest complaints about the movies.

See, here's the problem: No one has an open mind anymore. And that's fine, but I wish they'd just shut up and go find a cave to spew their hatred in, elsewhere.
