The Toy Fair pics showed the indy bots wielding them as blasters. So to answer your question... yes, kibble, but with a function. :-P

meh, I'd rather pointless kibble rather than big hunks of plastic wielded by individual robots.

Why thank you good sir. Now I may sleep easier at night! You have no idea how uninterrupted my sleeping patterns have been, many nights spending wondering "how am I ever going to display the individual constructicons without their plastic kibble without upsetting Cobotron".

Now all I need is for Rated X's approval to use Alpha Brave in Superion when I get the United Warriors version!

Great Devy pics! What about his VISOR; is it removable or retractable like Titan Metroplex, or are his SDCC & retail heads two different, separate molds?

I've been on the fence about this, and still remain somewhat unconvinced, especially once Hasbro's economizing became apparent, but I can honestly state that despite it's many shortcomings, I don't hate this Titan Devastator.

It doesn't look bad, though it's far from perfect. Long Haul is too fat, they're all too hollow, their articulation is only passable, the outward-facing clip-on wheels are really cheap-looking, and MixMaster's truck-mode is still ugly/unnecessarily "different", and yet, I still want one... :???: :-?

Well, thats what the assless chap butt flaps are for. When in vehicle mode, the hands fold in and those rectangular "weapons" are stored in the big rectangular holes on Longhaul's back.

Oh I noticed and couldnt believe it!

And the slots to insert the rectangular forearm kibble is more evident here of course. You'll notice that the holes are the same size as the forearms.

Long Haul's legs don't look nearly as bad in that pic. He actually looks decently proportionate. Still not liking the elbows those. If I do get this Devy set, I'm definitely going to model some add-ons to give him proper elbows.

I even have an idea for fixing Scrapper's arms.

I'm assuming that is Devastator's head just chilling there in the middle of Hook's alt-mode?

Is that the arm hanging on Bonecrushers's back or is there other sort of intergration? It's probably wishful thinking on my part, but I see a small potential for the arms folding up and storing internally. I've seen the arms used as guns\missle pods in other pictures. I just like for things to be all nice and tidy.

This feller having 3 Devastators is a little mind numbing. I'm glad he is sharing and caring with all the pictures.

Best I can tell, they're separate molds.

Long Haul is not fat, he's just large-framed, you insensitive prick. :P that's a joke
They are hollow by necessity
Their articulation is what it needs to be and you can bet good money that there will be a set of upgrade arms available by this time next year from some enterprising 3P or another.
Changing Mixmaster is odd, for sure, but I'm not going to get worked up about it. He works out in combined mode.

It's an opinion I happn to share, but I'm more extreme in it: in alt mode, I like things integrated (or at least hidden) rather than just stuck on. It's not a deal-breaker, but I miss how in Beast Wars and the 2001 RiD line, the weapons ween't just stuck on the alt mode as an afterthought wherever there was a peghole.

I think the holes in Long Hauls bed are for his own legs. And if u look at the back of Devi's right forearm u can see Scavenger's chest piece.

Video Review - Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Devastator: The Constructicons

Postby Va'al » Sun May 31, 2015 5:10 am

Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
Let us introduce some Mandarin to your Sunday morning routine, with the first long video review of the upcoming Generations Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator, via Zhen Yan Reviews on YouKu. The video is entirely in Mandarin, but we get a fairly detail look as the two reviewers show off each individual Constructicon (Scrapper, Hook, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Long Haul and Mixmaster), in both vehicle and robot mode - as we have seen several times before, including NY Toy Fair. The big Green itself will be featured in a second video, it seems - so take some time to check out the single transformations, below!
