It is a completely different kind of relationship really. Remember: Until Dark cybertron the only female was Arcee, and even now same-gendered robot relationships are common. This isn't really a human styled relationship in all the stuff we may do. Besides, Hasbro gave them the green light and they fully approved of the original Rewind's last message say "I love you".

AS for the avatars: it reflects their personalities and is purely artistic license. I love Cyclonus' avatar: he is a teacher of old of sorts, and others too have good ones. just because you are male does not mean you need a male avatar

Yeah, they generate them like they do in the first movie with Blackout in the opening scene. But here they can actually be solid, so they can interact with others.

Had a 20% coupon and found Hasbro's version of Dev at TRU when it first came out. My impatience and the cost savings got the best of me. Plus, a long pre-order gives my wife too much time to talk me out of spending that much on a toy, much easier to just buy it now and ask for forgiveness later.

Anyway, no way am I gonna pay US32$ + ship for a Devastator reprolabel set. If the official sticker sheet is obtainable somehow, could it be a cheaper option?

I'd really love to give more G1 look to my Titant Devy, but CAN50$ is almost the price of a goddamn leader figure.

Think of it this way, you've already invested a lot of money in the figure, is $50 that much more to enhance it so much?

It depend on personal preference, of course. After looking closely at the set, I don't think it give much improvement over the already amazingly detailed and well painted Hasbro Devastator. Also, many of the stickers will be completely invisible most of the time, making this a waste. Also, the CAN$ suck compared to the US$ so it's really not the time to buy anything in USD.

I DID buy some repro sets, but only if I feel it will make a figure stand out and special. Like CW Leader Megatron's.

I wouldn't mind picking up a set for Magnus. But my main reason for not getting them or even Devastators is because I'm too damn lazy and not very co-ordinated at putting on stickers.

Those sticker sheets arent even good. The decals extend further than the plastic its suppoed to go on. Thew talks about that in his review, he sums up the sticker catch 22 pretty well:

Is Combiner Wars Devastator the closest we will get to a Masterpiece Devastator?
