I wonder if it's worth contacting Hasbro for a color code for Scattershot? Anyone happen to know what color the red is? Should be an easy fix just to paint the strip that's missing.
As for Pyra Magna, she won't be in robot mode for long, but I'd rather do the chop to fix it to be safe. I can imagine a year down the line I forget, then wack, broken legs..
Cyclonus, not sure what to do with himnif polish doesn't work.
But I still won't be wavered to move to Takara unless it's a rare Rodimus build.

Thats a recency bias. All lines have issues. Looking at the thrilling 30 line (the one right before Combienr Wars) and there was that huge deal with Brainstorm's head and then there was Roadbuster's shoulders and Rhinox' weak-ass knees. Theres always issues.

Good point. I may have been lucky with most up till now. It may be a price we pay for getting more features and increased articulation.

Yeah, its the law of averages. For every added part, its an added chance of there being a problem. But I am personally fine with it. Other collectors dont have that luxury and can only talk about problems like "my black widow figure looks like a man".

In case people are still looking, Entertainment Earth still has Deluxe Groove for 17.99, months after release. And it can be shipped internationally.

Re: Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Discussion Thread
If Hasbro ever do what I keep suggesting and make some additional Characters for Combiner Wars using existing moulds then the Wheeljack is a pretty obvious one to do - but I thought I'd mention this now as I had an observation that. not only does Wheeljack have Slicer and Exhaust and even Makeshift as potential Decepticon repaints there is another one called car Crash too :
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Crash_Test
Wheeljack sure is a popular guy.

Honestly, with the metric ton of Third Party Devastator add-on kits out there; how did absolutely zero of them make drill add-ons?

I rather enjoyed the little LED spotlamp Dr. Wu (was it ?) made - that helped fill out some lopsided design rather nicely I thought - especially on Hercules.

So, I was clothes shopping at Burlington Coat Factory earlier this week, and I stumbled across a CW G2 Bruticus for $40

Needless to say, I was rather pleased.

I hope there is enough of these sets about for some of the over-spill to show up in the UK - other than CW Computron that is who think came in normally but was then reduced.
I'd rather like a Vicki but she costs more to post than she does to buy so it's impractical to buy her.
I expect i'll end up having to buy most of them 2nd hand.

For anyone on the fence about getting Liokaiser, I highly recommend him now that I got him. He is awesome.
The Sky Lynx torso has much better ratchets on this version and can hold together with no floppiness. The head sculpts are tremendous! the guys themselves are so incredibly painted it feels and looks wonderful!
And, Killbison is my favorite use of the Brawl mold. It actually works, holds together, is beautifully painted, the head is awesome, and it's what Brawl should have been. It is a good mold here.
Have some pictures:

Eh, I'll wait for Liokaiser to appear at Ross. If he's general retail anywhere, he's bound to show up there
I'll have to repurpose Dezarus somehow, I don't like that depiction at all. He'll be much more glorious as Sky Lynx's evil twin

Combiner Wars G2 Bruticus found for $40 at Burlington Coat Factory
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Fellow Seibertronian EmirateXaaron has found a nice score at Burlington Coat Factory. Despite the name, this is a market six store, similar to TJMaxx and Ross. He found Combiner Wars G2 Bruticus for only $40. Have any of you visited Burlington Coat Factory yet? Find any other cool box sets? Let us know!

Re: Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Discussion Thread
I have one in my area, and the toy section is always a total mess. Will be back there first thing tomorrow.
This is encouraging, because I'm not sure I should even bother canvassing TJ Marshaxx for these anymore. Only one of the half-dozen or so Marshalls in the genreal Novi/Canton/Livonia area (that I know of) ever got G2 Superion and Menasor in (Ford road, by Ikea, for fellow Michiganders), and when I called them 2 weeks ago, someone told me that those were just specials for the Christmas rush, and there's no chance of anything like that coming back in stock until they do some back-to-school specials sometime in this summer. I keep making the rounds anyway, since I missed G2 Dudicus and Compy's HTS blowout, and you never know what you'll find there.
But yeah, "Coat Factory" just doesn't stick on your toy radar, even once you know they carry them, now does it?

I've worked at BCF, and they actually made the move to drop "Coat Factory" from most of their advertising a couple years ago. And I can also confirm that the way they order stuff is rather odd. We get Hasbro cases on a regular basis, though it's usually a hodgepodge of several different toylines such as Transformers, My Little Pony, etc. So, while I can't say for certain that every stores gonna have TFs year-round, I would definitely check around sales and holidays, as they tend to go for giftset-esque items.

What is funny is this the the photo from Seibertron that I see stolen and used on ebay most. Most of them used it for the main photo too either not realizing or not caring that it is of a customization and not the retail version. I used to point it out to sellers that they are using a photo improperly that doesn't depict the actual item, and most would take the photo down.
It is quite a testament to the quality of the photos here though, great work.
