I checked the sightings threads on various boards It looks like it might be a case of him just being snapped up as there is confirmation that UK TRU did get some 1-to-1 cases (2 in a case).

Pretty much for the exact same reason: he feels like a voyager class toy. Extremely light, hollow parts , lack of paint apps. Like Jetfire, if I'd only paid $20 for Magnus I'd be happy. But I didn't. I paid full price.
I guess it's just another sign that my days of buying/collecting non masterpiece transformers are coming together a close.
