The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

Mwehh... it's not really much more than a recap of Megatron: Origins, really. Doesn't really add much to the story though. And anyhow, I'd say Megatron would be way past the point of even contemplating the concept of mercy.
The artwork is pretty good though.

its not g1 ironhide he kills, he'd never beg for mercy, he certainly didnt in the animated movie.

Have you read Megatron: Origins then? Because what Megatron's talking about and flashing back to is the scene in the first issue where the Emirate announces that all the workers in the mine (Megatron being one of them) are fired and that they'll be replaced with drones. Megatron watches the robot next to him be executed for speaking out. And he flips out and throws a pickaxe into the Emirate and sparks a riot. That event and the ones following his imprisonment and escape define who Megatron becomes and why.

Other then that alldarker and MG said anything else I was going to say.

They said it was an homage of Ironhide's death in the movie. It's obviously not any Autobot other then a generic one as you never see him at all in the strip.

Always good to see a "present day" Megatron reflecting back on the time he went from civillian to something more, a turing point. It also not too subtly hints at what he will deal with during the course of AHM, having become the very thing he once rose against. I worry for him, as a leader, has he taken the Decepticons as far as they can go without losing themselves?

Oh, I'm getting all worried about Megatron. Very good mosaic, makes me think.
