- Weapon: Energo-Sword
I haven't played the Transformers Wii game, but everything I've read is pretty "luke warm". I have a few Wii games I have really enjoyed though:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
Ghost Squad (with Nyko gun attachement/holder)
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
I only played a little of the new Zelda game for the Wii, but it was really fun and I have read lots of positive reviews.

No More Heroes is a great game. You'll laugh at the game making fun of itself and others, and be amazed at how many heads you can cut off at once. (I think I hit around 7)
I played Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on GameCube, but I really want to pick it up for Wii.
Red Steel was a great game. The sword-fighting could have used some fine-tuning, but the shooting was fantastic.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was spectacular. I really suggest it if you like Metroid, or sci-fi shooters.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a game that you can play for a month, then put it down, then play it for a month again later.
And then there's the great titles on Virtual Console, such as Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and F-Zero X.

I remember two guys with the username Godzilla. You'll have to be more specific.

VC has a huge amount of great games, and they never cost more then $12. And they keep adding new games usually once a week.

Re: Transformers on wii
My bro just bought a wii after playing my wife's one last weekend. I got it mostly for Tiger Woods '09 and Top Spin 3 (he actually plays real life golf and tennis).
Anyway, he asked me for recommendations, and I told him to pick up to get No More Heroes, Red Steel, and Resident Evil 4 (wii version).
He found No More Heroes and Red Steel for $20 a piece, so he picked them up.
He said he didn't have any interest in Resident Evil 4, and I think it's because he thinks it plays like the earlier Resident Evil games (which he's not too big of a fan of), despite my efforts to convince him that it plays differently.
He also asked about Spider-Man 3, Bully, and Transformers. I told him that he'd like Bully a lot, and then said that despite both Spider-Man 3 and Transformers getting luke-warm reviews, he'd enjoy them if he was a big fan of the franchises.
Also told him about Gamecube games being compatible with the wii, but he was less interested after I told him he needed a gamecube controller to play and gamecube memory card to save.
However, he asked me about the VC/Wiiware and how it works, and he's looking forward to downloading Super Mario Bros. and a couple of the Strong Bad games.

Re: Transformers on wii
Are you talking about the Transformers Game based off the movie? I'm assuming so since its the only TF game on the Wii. Anyway NOOOO noo nooo noooooo do not get it! The game is decent on the PS3, 360, and PS2, but it is absoloute garbage for the Wii. It would be about on the same level as the other 3 versions, but the control scheme is so screwed up and their is no option to use the gamecube controller or classic controller. Its like this
Punching motion with Wii remote: Punch Right
Punching motion with Nunchuck: Punch Left
Camera: Infrared sensor on the Wii Remote.
The rest of the functions are all mapped to the buttons, but I bet at this point you can imagine the problem with this game. Punch left, punch right, with the Infrared sensor on top of the remote equals a camera spinning out of control everytime you try to fight an enemy! The result is an unplayable piece of crap.
This is the problem with most of the Wii games: 3rd party companies half-assed attempts at trying to use Wii controls, when in reality well Nintendo made the Classic controller for a reason! If it doesn't call for Wii controls then Damn't don't use them!

thank you for the input. i have read a lot of the same things that you mentioned in a couple reviews. i agree, there are some things that need to remain controlled by an actual controller! the wii remote and nunchuk definitely have their limitations for sure. from what i have heard, TF for the wii is one game that i need to avoid.

Re: Transformers on wii
yeah I got my Wii a year ago and Transformers was one of the first games i rented for it. I played it all for 15 minutes or so and decided it was best I walk way before I end up breaking my pretty Wii-remote and nunchuck! It was frustrating me that much!

Add one more vote for Smash Bros. I've even got my wife playing it now. Experienced and beginners can still have fun on it together.
