You did mention the voice didn't sound like unicron. which means it didn't sound like orson wells who voiced unicron in the 1986 TF Movie.

Roger C. Carmel, Blu Mankuma (even though his was a fake) Mark Acheson, David Kaye, and Matthew King have all voiced Unicron too. And this voice doesn't sound like any of them either.

You honestly can't expect a new voice actor voicing unicron to sound exactly like orson wells did with his unicron voice.

I've heard plenty of villainous voices who have sounded like Welles' Unicron voice over the years. Don Brown's Shen Long from Dragon Ball Z (Ocean Group dub), Lee Tocker's Makuta from the Bionicle films, Miles Anderson's Poseidon in the 1997 TV miniseries The Odyssey, even Fred Tatasciore's Trypticon from the War for Cybertron video games sounded like Welles' Unicron.

Still, though, there's no proof to this person's identity one way or the other.

The fallen was already done to a bunch of times in the DW/IDW TF comics & the micheal bay ROTF movie. Hasbro likes to be creative & not repeative.

Yes for a new main villian I think the Fallen has already been over used.

Unicron isn't over used because he's a beloved old school 1980's character the fans like seeing again.

Have you forgotten about the years 2003-2006? The fandom was sick of Unicron by then. Why do you think there was a distinct exclusion of him in the movies, Animated, and IDW G1 comics? Because Unicron had, by then, been done to death* that the fans wanted something new and non-Unicron-involved.


* - Literally, as the fiction from the years 2003-2006 involved a constant cycle of Unicron coming, then dying, then reviving, then dying again, then reviving again, then dying again, then reviving again, then dying again, etc. etc.

If given a choice of the "over used unicron" verses the over used fallen,i'd select Unicron.

the fallen was over used more than Twice. The fallen was in a bunch of DW/IDW TF comics. the Fallen was in a bunch of official & un-official guides huge books. the fallen got a few back stories in his previous form called Megatronus. the fallen received a titanium 6 inch toy. the fallen received a bunch of ROTF toys in different sizes & color variations world wide. the fallen was featured in a world wide ROTF Movie release that received tons exposure/viewers. the fallen was featured in a bunch of pre-origin & after movie IDW TF comics. and the list goes on.
