The Wave 1 One-Step changers are at a reasonable enough price that I got Underbite and Strongarm off Amazon. The instructions for Strongarm, as usual, aren't clear but what's really bad is on mine the arms tend to lean inward. Underbite had the issue everyone else has where you have to push the legs in just so, to get them to stay. I like the transformation on Strongarm but Underbite is the better overall toy. Really don't think we need an Underbite in another size class.

But then doesnt he look too small facing any of the warrior class figures?

And isn't his articulation nearly non existent?
In general, I just look at the 1-Steps and long for more joints and a better set of paint apps and a bigger scale.
I think we NEED a Warrior-class Underbite (and, frankly, pretty much all of the Decepticons seen so far) and, well, Hasbro can't please everyone but this is one of the first times in years that a show has come along where I have been thoroughly enthralled by the aesthetics. Prime offered up some decent options, but very few I felt I had to own (in fact, while not entirely by my design, the only two Prime figures I have are a Cliffjumper and an Insecticon), the last time I felt so captivated by a series aesthetically was Animated and I bought everything I could get my hands on (and I still desperately wish to fill in the gaps in that line).

I sure hope that's First Edition Cliffjumper because that is a wonderful and unique transformer toy and deserves a place in a collection.
I totally agree with that, I like the aesthetic too. But I feel Underbite would be better for a Hyperchange class to tower a bit over the warrior class figures, as he does on the show.

Re: Transformers Robots in Disguise (2015) Products Thread
Uhm, I would, personally, rather have Warrior-class specifically because I like a) a modicum of complexity in a transformation, b) a decent amount of articulation (which neither 1-Step nor Hyperchange offer) and c) a figure that fits nicely into the space I have available. As I have moved out of my family home and time has gone onwards, I have found that larger figures are less-and-less likely to draw my attention unless they REALLY offer something special. In the RID15 line we have been told the most complex toys will be the Warrior-class, therefore that is the ideal class to meet all of my demands.
Also, I don't think it is first edition Cliffjumper as, while I loved the Dwayne Johnson voiced character, the toy I have is a bit underwhelming. I think that I had thought it was the first edition when I got it, but that was only because it was the first CJ from Prime I had found at retail (which, while I was living in Quebec, means that it easily could have been delayed a long time, retail shelves were horrible for my buying habits in Quebec).
I'm rambling a bit now...

Easy way to determine if it's the FE or RID cliffjumper:
Is the chest the actual car roof or is it fake kibble?
Real roof is FE. Faux kibble is RID.

It's not the first edition. I had thought so based on how much less awesome mine seemed when everyone was talking about it being awesome.

The first edition go much cheaper online than what it used to be, so its still around if you want it. I had the RID first, then had an opportunity for the first edition. So I bought the first edition and sold the RID for 10$ and didnt regret it.

RID Underbite doesn't stand up to form a humanoid form. So he has no robot mode. Think Underbite has a Robotic animal mode that transforms into a vehicle. Like some Web Diver and Beast Machines Deployers toys did.
The reason I guessed Underbite's robotic animal mode was a Gorilla. was for the long front arms and short back legs. Think the overall body design and elongated big forehead looks like a Gorilla.

Underbite's four-legged animal form is his robot mode.

A robot mode doesn't have to be a bipedal humanoid robot. It's simply a transformer's "true" form, as opposed to their alt mode. Since Underbite's alt mode is the car-thing, his dog mode is his robot mode.

Not the first time we had a toy with an animal as a main mode and a vehicle alt mode:

Personally I view Underbite as a weird stocky alien canid.

From what I've seen from the RID cartoon thus far Underbite changes size so any toy, at any time, will and will not be in scale. The mouth moves, what more articulation do you need from a robot dog? Making another Underbite besides the Legion toy will be a waste of parts that could be used for another character. Articulation isn't a be all, end all.

Robots in Disguise (2015) Warrior Class Grimlock Arm Fix
- Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
Robots In Disguise Warrior Class (Deluxe) Grimlock has a well known problem with his arm assembly in which the gray piece of plastic that functions as a ratchet will become loose and even dislodged, causing problems such as stressing the forearm plastic and causing the forearms to become loose and droop, and possibly even break if it gums up badly.
Seibertron has posted a video tutorial on how to fix this problem and even get rid of the stress marks so you can get your awesome Grimlock figure back to it's minty freshness.
You can watch the YouTube tutorial in the embed below, check out our gallery of Warrior Class Grimlock here and discuss the figure and it's issue here.
Keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates, plus the best galleries around!
