It is by far one of the single worst pieces of Transformers fiction ever produced.Rated X wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Just because something is a "Transformers thing" doesn't automatically make it good.itscramtastic wrote:I'm pretty sure I liked the Combiner Wars series and was thinking of ordering this off Target.com..I mean, who wouldn't want an extra Transformers thing to watch
Damn you hate CW that much? How bad could it be? Worse than Japan Headmasters series ? (Im a Rebirth fan)
Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.
Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
YOU TAKE THAT BACK RATED X!!Rated X wrote:Damn you hate CW that much? How bad could it be? Worse than Japan Headmasters series ? (Im a Rebirth fan)
Ah, maybe that's what I'm remembering the most. Megatron was the best. I do remember the council people being whiny complainers..Sabrblade wrote:The only good thing about the series was its depiction of Megatron, who was genuinely delightful, funny, and entertaining to watch that it's astonishing that a show so bad could have such a likable Megatron.

Back on track here, the only other versions of TLK movie are ones with the diecast cars and a steelbook, right?
Rated X wrote:Awesome news. Thanks for pointing this out. I was gonna stop by Walmart, but it looks like Ill hit target instead. Ive never seen CW before so that will be a treat. Also glad its on DVD because blue ray is the biggest rip off. They lighten the colors a bit and charge you double for same thing.

I thought it was awesome! Of course there were parts where I rolled my eyes (or said "ugh" aloud), but for the most part (and thank Primus Simmons was back) I thought it was really great. For me, MUCH better than Age of Extinction. Can't believe it was 2.5 hours. It didn't feel like it. AoE was less than that (by just a few minutes) and took me three attempts to finish. That's saying something in my book.

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!
Short of the "stoppa the time" and "move beach (change the 5 letters)" there isn't really anything I'd change! It was fun, and I'll be watching it a few more times this week fo shoooooooooooooooooooooo!!TulioDude wrote:Thanks for the positivity!I thought was fun and had a good time too!itscramtastic wrote:Watched TLK for the first time last night.

Trailers ruin movies (sometimes)! BUT, the LEGO Ninjago trailer has things that didn't even make it IN to the movie! So there's that.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:(note: I was ok with the movie. I'm mostly upset that the entire Bee/Prime fight was shown in previews, there was nothing new save the final few seconds/revelation of the outcome!!)
Thanks noctorro!noctorro wrote:Glad you enjoyed the movie itscramtastic, I for one hated it and loved parts of Age of Extinction.
The Last Knight is one of the shortest Transformers movies, like the first and Age of Extinction is the longest of them all (sidenote)
I think The Last Knight is thé most disconnected from Transformers, and movies.

Qwan wrote:I came out of TLK let down, and for the first fifteen minutes afterward I just felt lethargic but after that I was angry. I've never come out of a movie angry before or since, so I guess TLK has that dubious honor. It's interesting to hear other people with the opposite opinions, and I'm glad you guys liked it! I guess for me, it just did something really wrong - something I still can't quite pin down honestly, but whatever it was I sure hope future Transformers movies avoid it, for my sake and theirs.
Not just Sam, but his parents too!! And they were hilarious!! I had a similar thought last night while watching. I also didn't get to pause on screen when his picture shows up.EunuchRon wrote:Somethin' I noticed watching the flick tonight... When Hopkins says he's the LAST of the Witwiccans, and there's a picture of Sam... could that mean Sam got killed offscreen? Cause that would be totally hilarious if Megs decided to hunt him down and off him inbetween films.![]()
