Nemesis Cyberplex wrote:Oh, & I also got Transformers Monopoly. Awsome, awsome set. Only problem I have with it in any way is that the houses & hotels are called energon cubes & anti-matter respectively, yet the 'cubes' still look like houses, albeit purple, & the "anti-matter" are still the standard red hotels. For a set like this, a bit more thought could have went into making those look more like what they're supposed to be. Other than that...awsome.

Yeah seriously. I mean how many transfans would have thought of making the old red tech specs decoder to read the chance/community chest cards? That was genious. & then they dropped the ball on the houses.....Vegitron wrote:Nemesis Cyberplex wrote:Oh, & I also got Transformers Monopoly. Awsome, awsome set. My thoughts exactly!! What a great game! They put so much attention to detail in the game, it's hard to believe Parker Brothers could not find anything that resembles a cube in their vast product line. Sorry, but hotels and houses just don't fit. I'm still looking for a suitable substitute.

Could it be for a legal reason, similar to how the 'go to jail,' 'go,' 'free parking,' etc. spaces can't be changed in themed Monopoly games?
Correct me if I'm wrong, though, but haven't other sets, like the original Star Wars board, come with different shaped properties? IIRC, it had Millenium Falcons for hotels....1337W422102 wrote:Nemesis Cyberplex wrote:Yeah seriously.
