Just ordered me Excellion and Armorhide. Yes, I'm like way behind many of you, but I'm looking. :)

For some reason, I get more autobots than decepticons? I keep trying to even it all out, and for every 1 con I get, I get 2 or 3 bots. :-?

Picked up an extra Cl Starscream to break into little bitty pieces. The legs are for my take on the T Soundwave mod that's on show in the kitbash forum. I'm quite willing to have a bit of leg kibble sat beneath the tape deck if it means that Soundwave will finally be potty trained but I'm planning to retain forward facing speakers. From here on out I'm going to pick up every Starscream and Ramjet that I can, even get extra 2 pack Skywarps if it comes to it. Any that don't end up used for specific projects (Sunstorm, Blitzwing, Aerialbots) will wind up as a horde of generic seekers. First army building mission I've set myself since the E Terrorcons.

so today afterwork I was in a store looking for Voyager Blackout, they had no Voyagers for some reason and I got to looking at the Scorpinok figure.

When I first saw pics of him on the net I thought is was stupid but having seen him in the movie last night and seeing the toy first hand I decided to take a chance(he was 25% off anyway).

Scopinok is awesome, the mold detail and paint apps are really what make this little guy, he just looks mint on my shelf at Starscream's feet - and the claw gearing works great too, I'll get Bloack out tomorrow.

I also got Spyshot 6 - the little camera guy, he's the only one of the real gear toys I like and he rocks hard, he asymmetrical limbs give him real personality as does his head sculp - is just brilliant with his little red goggle eyes.

If you get one real gear get Spyshot 6.

And last but not least I won a Scourge off an online auction, it's the black repaint of laser rod prime and it's boxed in mint condition, it's the japanese box too... and the best part? I payed hardly anything for it, I would have payed twice what I did and considered it a steal - the seller clearly had no idea of it's value.

Scourge is a total bad ass btw.

I got movie Blackout today - he's the same size as deluxe Wreckage?! just with more paint apps and an aweful big kibbley helicopter backpack.

What a rip of a Voyager.

I don't recommend him unless you see him half price or cheaper.

Also got Galaxy Force Vector Prime, I don't collect this line but saw him and thought he'd look good in the collection and he is good... although some of the build materials feel abit cheap.

Yes, Blackout is indeed a rip-off in my opinion. He has stability issues, he can't hold his weapon, and pretty much the size of a Deluxe! He's tiny and the bladeweapon just isn't worth its size. Almost half of the effing chopper is wasted for a large almost-useless weapon he can't even hold properly. If the blades could have disconnected and been used like Cybertron Evac's, maybe Blackout wouldn't have sucked so hard.

??? Maybe there are some defective ones out there....mine works fine. Only problem on mine is scorponok's cage lets loose too easily....that & his head looks like it was colored by a 1st grader with a crayon.

That being said, it makes sense why he's so small. The robot is the same size as the deluxes, but he comes with the big accessory. It was probably a situation where they knew he wasn't exactly worth $20, but he was too big to hit the $10 price point, so they just went with the next point up.

Movie Barricade.

I tried to re-enact the "Interrogation Scene" from the movie, with Revoltech Dante, but Dante was too big, and it looked like they were about to "Do it."

And that's just creepy.

Now I'm going to get '08 Bumblebee, and have my self some fun. 8)
