This thread was extremely helpful before, so I figured I would revive it.

Anyway, to start it back up, I have a question.

I recently bought the new 20th DVD Prime, and I want to paint the gun black instead of having it blue, yellow, and gray.

What would be the best type of paint to use for this>

If anyone registered an account and played HMW between the database switchover on Sunday and the crash on Thursday, and lost their account in the crash, please post here once you've re-registered your account.

While investigating a problem with signups, I discovered that HMW data from these missing accounts should be salvageable even if the accounts themselves are not.

If you fall into the category above, please post as soon as possible with your missing account details (user name, some bot names to help me identify it) and I'll try to marry your pre-crash HMW data up with your new account.

Oh, that's weird. You shouldn't even be able to log in to the WarHorse account any more.

Okay, I've gone through the import stuff again. WarHorse is definitely disabled and jaymacsigtau is back online. Try it again and see if you get in.

there is wheeljacks lab and eBay.
Unfortunately, since the figure is so new and has to be imported you will have a pretty hard time scrounging one up. You might want to check Carbombia here on Seibertron to see if any kitbashers can help you out or get creative and try to make one. If you go the creative route, I'd check out some kitbashing sites on the net or on other TF forums for help.

Just to piggy-back and revive your original question so hopefully we both get a response... :grin:

I recently had the good fortune to be able to get a complete God Neptune for an affordable price (@ $50)...minus his sword. Since that piece is nonexistent on e-bay, I had a brainstorm--get a hold of a more common Piranacon sword and paint it to match God Neptune. Like Pasta's question above--what types of paint and what process is best for this type of job? I've not kitbashed or repainted a thing in my life, so type slowly.... :HEADHURTS:
