I'm compiling together all of my Generation 1 transformers. I have quite a few that have just been sitting in an attic forever (along with Go-Bots) and I've been trying to figure out what some are worth and all of that.. but some I'm not even sure of the name anymore.
I have one that I THOUGHT was a Generation 1 (I don't remember buying any after I got into High School in 88) but I can't find it online
I've attached a picture. Some of these are going to be really hard to identify. I mean some are easy (I have the original Optimus Prime and Megatron of course, Percepter, Soundwave, Blaster, etc.) but sorting out some of these is a real bear. And figuring out how much some of them is work is just freakishly difficult.
But if I can't even identify them, I'm stuck.
To help this one I thought was a color change or whatever.. I think if you put heat down on it's sticker it would reveal whether it was a decepticon or an autobot.. something like that.

Two more.
Some things I'm stumbling across I almost say to myself: WOW. How did I hold onto that one (Metroplex? Go-Bots Autobot Headquarters and Thruster etc.) But some of these I have no idea what the hell they are.
Especially the really tiny ones

Thanks. I think I'm going to put these up in storage for a while longer then. Some of these maybe will end up worth something, but not now it seems

The green one is G1 Cosmos (mini-bot) and the helicopter is G1 Highbrow (headmaster).

If you can find Highbrow's accessories, he commands a pretty decent price.

Or, alternatively, keep him and bask in his glory.

I know I would! It's the only Headmaster I'd say I want, I'm a sucker for good Helicopter 'bots.

Re: Trouble Identifying a Toy
Bwahah.. I've got tons of helicopter transformers. I don't know, my age is showing but outside of the major ones, I can't identify damn near any of these. I mean Optimus Prime, Perceptor, Blaster, etc. those are easy.. but some of these are like what the hell.
But I'm not sure if I'm milking this forum if I just keep posting pictures and saying "WTH is this?"
Actually, the weirdest thing I've found is the stuff I totally forgot about. Like a Transformers Electric Railroad set that's silver where the train thing kind of transforms into a terrible looking plane

We're always happy to help you identify toys. However, if you don't want to keep posting pictures on the forums, you can use TFU.info's Transformers Identification Index instead.

I've tried that.. I don't know, working on it. Maybe I'll take some photos later and let you guys have at it. I'm going to hold onto most of these for a while I think
