I am planning on getting the TRU Reissue Starscream, Soundwave, and Optimus Prime.

Can someone list all the differences from all these to their originals?

Do you mean the TRU reissues or the Encore reissues? You say "TRU Encore set."
Please clarify what you mean.
Or I'll just describe both.

TRU: Prime has short smokestacks.
Encore: Prime has the long smokestacks like the original, but the decals are pre-applied, which is more convenient to those who aren't good with stickers.

TRU: Starscream has SUPER LONG missiles.
Encore: Starscream has normal missiles but has a different colored cocpit, which I find rather annoying.

TRU: Soundwave has an expanded cassette door that can fit 2 cassettes. Comes with Ravage and Lazerbeak. Lazerbeak is horribly deformed worse than any KO I've ever seen.
Encore: Soundwave has the original door and only comes with one cassette, but it isn't deformed. Soundwave is a lighter blue. I didn't ask why.

Well as far as I know.......with Prime the biggest difference will be paint apps and the shoulder exsoust pipes.....In the TRU reissues they have to be shorter due to safty laws.
Starscream will be both paint and the missle's.......The Takara reissues usually use the orignal molds for the missles [Not sure about the Encores] but in the us the safty laws state that the missles have to be larger so they re-molded larger one's.

Soundwave is a different story.even Takara reissues are not 100% like the first Soundwave.....thats because the first mold was dammaged beyont repair.So they use the soundblaster mold.The big difference was just the Tapedeck being larger and the buttons being molded together.Also the TRU reissue comes with 2 Tape Transformers.

I didnt have any of those issues with my TRU reissue Soundwave.

Did the original Ravage have his decals painted on? Cause that's what the TRU version has...

Ravage didnt have any decals but if your referring to his Decepticon symbol it was a sticker.

Mine doesn't have any problems like that..... The only problem I have is that Laserbeak is more orange looking then red. Maybe you just got a crappy one?

I think you just got a defective one. My Laserbeak is in perfect condition, as is my Ravage.

Mine doesn't have that problem. Actually, none of the toys that I have and that are supposed to have problems have any. I must be ree-lee lucky.

I never had a soundwave until I bought the TRU soundwave which I like more over the original because of the double cassettes. I was thinking to get Soundblaster before TRU soundwave announced. Now I'm happy with what I've got.

is there any place to still get soundwave at a reasonable price?

Apparently some TRUs have still got it, I guess you could try posting something in Carbombya.

Nope,you could get it from the Uk but that costs more then what you origanaly payed.
