- Ultra Prime -

“I ducked around the corner as laser fire crackled where my head was just a second before. I heard one of them running towards my position. I readied my hammer. The Decepticon had no idea what was about to happen to it. I estimated the impact at approximately 839G’s. This effectively penetrated the attackers defenses leaving his spark exposed to the hammer’s simultaneous discharge. The Decepticon dropped to the ground, non-functional. That’s when I saw Him. He was holding my unit commander, Alpha Prime, by his head. Prime’s body was limp and hemorrhaging energon. That’s when Liege Maximo’s attention turned to me. He dropped Prime and started walking towards me. I dislodged my hammer from the Decepticon and prepared my defenses. Then He spoke to me.”

The council looked to each other. One spoke up, “What did he say to you agent Ultra?”

I look at the ground for the first time in the 5 megacycles since the debriefing began. Considering the loss of my whole team, including Alpha Prime, the fact that I am standing here at all is an act of the Allspark… Or is it just my programming.

I looked at the council of the High Command and told them, “He told me that in the eyes of the ‘Master Force’ program, He is the success to my failure. He told me that the next generation of Decepticons will be the successors to his failures. He told me that we should take our birthrights and rule Cybertron together. My brother wanted me to show you what it means to be truly powerful…”

I looked over the High Command and played out the consequences of such an act in my combat sequencers. A council member mumbles, “…and?”

“I showed Liege Maximo what 1396 G’s feels like.” I hope they didn’t register the remorse.

The council convened to discuss my future now that I knew that my life was just a project. An idea designed by the Master Force program, brought to life by Allspark technology. Will they decide to disassemble me and bury their mistakes…? Or will I be kept around to protect their mistakes.

“The High Command has reached the following verdict on the matters involving the subject Liege Maximo and program Master Force. Since there are no other subjects active, program Master Force will be closed immediately, its records locked and buried. The Decepticon corpses along with that of Liege Maximo will be shipped to a secure location where they will also be buried. Agent Ultra, step forward. It has been unanimously decided by this council that you shall no longer be a subject of program Master Force. In the light of your service and courage, the High Command bestows upon you the title of Prime. Your record will reflect brightly through history. Arise, Ultra Prime.” The council members bowed their heads.
