Page 2?

I got some more of those KO cassette sets today; Ratbat 'n' Frenzy and Ravage 'n'red crystal! Rumble, and WST Dinobots Slag and Grim arrived the same day.

The cassettes are very good, metal in all the right places (apart from Rumble, he has white plastic) but the dinobots are brilliant! The three now face off against the KO WST devistator i got last year awating the other 2's release...
BTW: Swoop or Sludge to be the 'secret dino'? My money is on swoop.

And with the arrival of KO Reflector last week (very obviously a KO too, but worth £18 inc.) all i think i need now is a G1 Thundercracker and my mission to build the nemesis and crew will be complete.

Its been a great friday.

I think I may have to take a knife to Slag to make it fit in the hole.

Is it just me or does that sound wrong?

It annoys me slightly that so many peeps are leaving of late.

Regardless of what Ryan has or hasnt done or said, I like this comunity.

I also intensly dislike those in charge of the tavern table or what ever the hell its called.

Anybody notice that play.com have added the re-issue keychains, caribiners (seperately wtf?) and those Prime and Bumblebee movie based articulated keychains to their site.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but i haven't looked through all the other posts.
I'm lazy like that

I should probably add that they aren't available until june.

I've not left!! Honest :P

I'm not collecting now (no room plus impending move to Ireland in September) but I still keep an eye on you lot - usually to flog my figures 8)

Plus I'm juggling a second hobby - painting GW 40K figures so I jump to different sites all the time.

BTW how did the MP Megatron bulk buy thing go?

It seems that the thread must have been "lost" in the latest bit of "server trouble". I definitely don't think it was deleted just becuase of what people were saying in it because as we all know there's no censorship like that on this site. Oh no, none at all.

Luckilly I had a premonission of "server trouble" like happening to that thread so I took a screen cap of AK's last post before his account was banned in the same "server trouble" incident.

I don't recall it going any further. Anyway I'll have to opt out of that now as I'm going to be buying one off sombody else who's ordering an extra one for me.

He posted about his disagrement with Ryan's method of getting money to buy his new camera. Then he posted his goodbye thread.

In his own words on TTT:

Alex Kingdom wrote:Thanks for saving those screen shots I was so annoyied I didnt save a text copy of my original comment in the 'Thank you' thread. Ironic that I a) predicted Ryan would delete it, and b) asked Ryan not to email me becuase he wouldnt get a responce. He did both.

Yours AK

Alex Kingdom wrote:Well the threads been deleted and my accounts been locked. Cant say I'm suprised, althought I did think that even Ryan wouldn't be so dumb as to censor someone speaking out about censorship on his site. Oh well I don't plan on going back there every again anyway.

Yours AK

Hm, you can't really consider forums as a representation of free speech if people aren't allowed to speak their mind. I always found AKs views to be refreshing as it was nice to have an alternative view on things. He and I might not have agreed on things (whatever they were) but I appreciated, and more so, respected him for his point of view.

So I guess he's lurking at the tavern then?

Nah, not lurking, he's an active poster along with all those other cool kids who left/were banned/resigned as staff from a certain site.

I feel the need to stand up for Ryan to an extent.
AK has repeatedly rilled up against Ryan over the camara thing, firstly in the Request Thread, then later in the thank you thread. And each time Ryan replied pretty well to his complaints. But If it were my site, and I had one guy constantly whinging on about one issue, I'd get pretty fed up too, especilly since AK used to be one of Ryan's biggest champions... (It was allso PAINFULLY obvious that this wasnt the real issue, and AK was just using it to get a confrontation from what I read in the two threads.)

I honestly have no real complaints about how Ryan runs the site (getting rid of MP and galvatron-whats-his-face was the best thing Ryan ever did).

I also have no issue with AK, the few times ive spoken with him I've found him to be a good guy. (Especilly when he sold me things. :D )

Anyway, to to more plesent things...

I was gonna go to Argos to see if they finally had some Titainiums.... But I couldnt be bothered.

Does 2 threads really count as constantly?

They resigned actually as they didn't agree with what they were being asked to do.

Since you're on teh intarweb why not check if they have any stock here? You can check if your local store has any in stock at the moment and reserve one right away if they do.

I dont mean board wide constantly, but he did go on more than was totally neccersary when it was obvious Ryan had read and replied to his concerns (and that the majority of the users werent at all bothered).
And as I have already said, it looked (at least to me) that this wasnt the real issue, and the writing was on the wall for AK's time here anyway. Heck, his sudden lack of action here since xmas has shown that he wasnt happy here anymore.

I actully feel quite retarded for not thinking of that myself, lol.

EDIT: well f**k me, who would have though it, not a titiainium for bloody miles... Argos, you utterly SUCK.
