Vash the Stampede vs. Alucard (Hellsing)

Postby Evank_Horizon » Wed Feb 28, 2007 10:49 am

Both are extraordinary gunmen. Both have hidden pasts. Both had extremely long life. Both have terrible powers.

No one to protect. The battle takes place in a wide deserted area. Infinite ammo is available for Vash.

Alucard wins because he can repeatedly take damage and heal himself incredibly quickly

Heal?

He can be seen to reconstruct himself from pretty much nothing.

Vash can only beat him if he has some kind of a holy or magical weapon at his disposal.

Since has a holy weapon ever stopped Alucard in the slightest?

Alucard takes this easily, the only shot Vash would have would be if he used the Angel Arm(s) and nuked the area Alucard is in but Vash would never willingly use that option.

Alucard. The guy is so pchycotic (sp?) and can pull himself back together after getting riddled with 500 bulletholes easy, stabbed by large blades, decappitated, burnt, blown up with a develish grenade launcher (not at the same time, but still impressive). Nothing can hurt that guy.

Vash's strongest weapon is far more destructive than that. And I think it's arguable wether or not Alucard can regenerate after being completely annihilated.

I'd go for the guy with a nuke for a gun.

1. Vash would never voluntarly use his Angel Arm

2. Alucard has never gone all out in a fight so who knows what he could do. (Well maybe in volume nine or ten but I haven't read them.) Though I did see him Summon the souls of those whose blood he has sucked in a variety of forms that either sprout from his body or swarm about him as an army numbering in the thousands.

Alucard wins, but if D were there, he'd cut'em both up.

D could chop down Vash, I'll give you that but Alucard has been reduced to a puddle multiple times and just gets back up so a sword wouldn't do jack.

I'd probably spoil Hellsing if I told you, but believe me, there's things that can hurt Alucard.

Kinda hard to say, but I think Alucard has this in the bag.
Lookin' back on the track for a little green bag,

The only spoiler you could give regarding that (And I know what you're talking about) is that

SPOILERZ wrote:Incognito hitting (Not shooting) Alucard with Silver Bullets DOES reduce him to a puddle, but it doesn't kill him. He pulls himself back together, and goes nuts on Incognito.

Oh good lord not the TV adaption

Really, you should watch the ultimate OVA instead or read the manga.

I'm refering to "the nail" ofcourse.

Additionally, you've only seen a glimpse of what he can do.

And about his full power, highlight this spoiler:

At full power he turns back to his original form, and that's the 40 year old version of Vlad Tepes. He's even wearing his original knight armor and all!
