I do not know if this has been said in this thread because I am still relatively new to this board....European cars would be difficult to put in the sequel. They are going to run into similar problems as Hasbro/Takara when they were developing the Alt/BT figures..some of the car manufacturers (Porsche, BMW) do not want their licensed property to have a weapon. So they might have to rely on American and Japanese cars.

I meant to put not...it goes back to the cars' history back to WWII. Sorry about the confusion.

very good question...I do not know.
But in the production of some of the TF figures, Porsche rejected any involvement with "war machines," making it impossible to attain the license for the figure's release. The company had no interest being involved with war toys, considering their illustrious history.
As for BMW, they said that as long as the figure did not have a gun, they would approve it.

last time i checked it was only VW that didnt want thier cars in war movies over the fact they built vehicles for the Nazis. They want to remove themselves from the Past.
however BMW has no problem with it, they take pride in the fact thier engines were used in the luft.
I have a feeling we might see cars that were alt's at one point. Simply put they had the best ideas for modern cars.
hotrod = FordGT
sideswipe/redalert = Viper
Trailbreaker maybe a SSR?
i have a feeling the Domestic Companys are gonna try to buy out the movie. which is fine, i really dont wanna see common vehicles for alien bot modes. Unless they are high end or exotic.
it would be hard to upstage Bumblebee seeing how he was a concept car. its uniquness set him apart from anyone else.

I think Rolls royce and SAAB still make military vehicles so they don't think its a problem
unlike BMW.
I think Hound would be fitting as one of those hummers that has brackets for HMGs on the passenger doors and cupola. Sorry can't find a photo of on of them.

Bugatti Veyron, surely there's a transformer that likes to go really really...really fast.
Except it'd eat up a huge portion of the budget.
Edit: No chance, forgot Bugatti is own by VW.
that would make a cool Blurr!!!
