I fibnally got the home premium Vista, but some of it rocks, and some of it sucks.
1. Dell's warranty doesn't cover it now since it originally had XP.
2. As I was installing it, I left it while I was sleeping, and I guess it turned off to save power, and I don't think it installed properly. Sometimes at the log in screen when I first turn it on, there are all of these ape **** flashing green lights, a few black screens come up saying Windows didn't shut down or some programs weren't installed or some crap like that.
3. The on the Norton 360, it says I need more backup. Dunno if this has anything to do with it...
I guess 2. is the biggest problem, so if anyone can help me it'd be great.

Re: Vista Trouble!
For number 2, are ou shutting down properly when you turn it off, or are you hitting the power button?
The green stuff may be your graphics card drivers, try updating that and see if it persists.

I know the answer to the problems you're having.
1. You installed Vista.
2. You installed Vista and it didn't install properly.
and
3. You have also installed Norton.
