Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

GetterDragun wrote:The Voltron 2 shown is Daltanious, which is froma mid 70s series similar to Gaiking, or Combattler. Your standard Bandai/GoDaiKin robot. Daltanious was not Voltron 2, as AlBeGas was.
I suspect that this was pre-Voltron on TV, kind of the pilot for Voltron as I doubt Peter Cullen would voice a fan made youtube video. I suspect when that Matchbox chose AlBeGas for Voltron 2 irregardless of this pilot, but since it was low in popularity it never was brought over.
In regards to the Promo, I think it is fan made.
Daltanious (I have 2 in my collection, simply an awesome robot):

So I was wondering if at sometime in an other market did they ever include "Daltanious" into the Voltron myth.
By the way I havent seen a "Daltanious" toy in at least 15 years...asome that you have 2.....I envy you

Liege Evilmus wrote:Thank you for knowing the name of that guy Getter, if you run a Wiki search on him it'll tell you that when different series where looking to be imported. Golion wasn't even shown.
However when World Event Productions (like myself) couldn't remember the names of any of these series, so they said, "We'll take the one with the lion"
Hence the acidental birth of Voltron!
