About three years ago I got Hasbro reissues Ultra Magnus, Prime, and Takara Book style reissue Megatron all for about $80 shipped. All were MISB. Of course, that was a one of a kind e-Bay deal I snagged. $90 plus about $25 in shipping/tax is just too much!

I'd like to buy this re-issue. But for cheap.

For that much it better come with a piece of Robert Stack's corpse.

This truly is a rip-off. You can piece together a decent looking G1 Ultra Magnus from trading boards and eBay for cheaper than that. Buy a new set of stickers from Reprolabels and BAM! you got something much nicer and worth more.

Just an aside here: but the title on the front page really annoys me.
State what the Ultra Magnus is. Don't make it a mystery. I find this type of "reporting" childish.

Thats how they get you to read the article. You don't want to read it then don't click it. It isn't childish at all. However, complaining about something as trivial as an article title is.

As for Reissue Magnus.

I got mine back when TRU had it in 2002 so I won't bother. Still... thats pretty steep. I'm hoping Wal Mart isn't using the film to gouge prices on potential G1 reissues because they won't get many sales outside people with cash to burn.

It is so beautiful. I need one of these, but NOT for $90.

$60 perhaps, but not that much.

I hope the price drops substantially.

Good thing I didn't order this. I got this Magnus two years ago on ebay for less than helf the price. Yay! $100 for a reissue that's not Prime though? Wal-Mart=Crazy?

Um, no. But if you actually find an original for that cheap, I'll buy a few. He usually goes for $300 from what I've seen, as well as G1 Galvatron MISB.

No way in hell I will pay $100 for a re-issue UM. No farking way...
