I got the 2-pack at the Puyallup Walmart around 5:30 this morning. Also snagged the display that they came in. Love those displays! No sign of MPS though. :?

Actually, this time I used the ole, "hey, can I have this box, I'm tryin to find RodimusTitans' mom a new home." Works 9 times out of 10.

Hope you got my text. Expired Sams membership however, I still like to visit pretty often just to try to find that damn thing. I'll let you know right away if spot it. Where the heck is the next nearest Sams anyway?

kinda disappointed with sams.. called to see if they had the 3 pack in stock. was put on hold for over 20 mins! being black friday and all, i imagine the place was pretty crazy. anyways, i looked online and there are 3 in the area Renton, Auburn and Aurora. the item number is 755819.

by the way, mom says thanks for the new digs! :P

I was dumb ehough to try Lynnwood TRU on Black Friday at opening and found nothing of note at all. Target had one Con. BB, but he's becoming just uncommon now and not rare like he used to be.

Lynnwood TRU today (Sat.) had some of the Robot Heroes wave 2 - I picked up the Proto Jazz/Brawl and Prime/Scorponok sets. They still had SS/Arm.BB and another Proto Jazz/Brawl.

Hope everyone had a good holiday!

Nothing new at Woodinville Target... not a surprise.

Hopefully, we'll see the scene packs soon. I thought I had heard December mentioned.

Anyone interested in doing some kind of TF meet-up?

I know a Star Wars forum I used to post on has meetings once a month. Would anyone here be interested in something like that? Maybe in the north area, like Alderwood Mall. It might be good to put faces to some of these names...

I'm up for it, or will at least give it a good try what with the work schedule. It'll give me a chance to sport my new purchase in public. (Black baseball cap with metallic red Autobot logo embroidered on it. Twenty #%@*ing bucks but it's TF swag so I can't complain too much. Would have been happier had it been Decepticon.)

Speaking of purchases, got paid...spent TF budget in one evening, as usual, but scored TRU excl. Titanium WarWithin Prime & Megs 2-pack at Lynnwood TRU. Still no luck finding Target Scout Storngarm. I'm starting to find it quite...irritating. On the positive side, while Lynnwood Wally-World (Wal-Mart) had same old nothing, Everett had 1 Transformers Universe 2-pack with Cybertron Series Downshift and Cannonball. No tags for them on any shelf or end-caps. they also had an assortment near the back wall and one aisle over, of TF wristwatches. 3 different styles @ $4.97 ea. Yeah, I broke down and got one to go with my new hat, and the new TF shirt I picked up last week.
Almost forgot, the stock team had one area LOADED with pallets of Hasbro boxes to be distributed throughout the toy dept. tonight. Those who can check it out in the morning, I would recommend it. I'm working in Arlington this week so I will be checking out Smokey Pt. Target and Marysville Wal-Mart on my way home tomorrow night. If I find Strongarm, you all will definitely know about it, big bold happy text syle.

Last night Lynnwood TRU had about 8 each of Voy. Blackout and Ironhide, but nothing else worth it. Lynnwood Target was dead, as was Woodinville.

On a side note, with all the scalping/lurking I've seen this week, I am so glad this will be my last year for Star Wars. After collecting for 8 years and *aggresively* collecting for the past 3, it just hasn't been much fun. Haphazard distribution, McQuarrie and gold coin scalper-bait - it just sucks. I'll get one of everything for '07 and then I'm out of the retail figures. I'll still go after the higher-end stuff though...

Anyone else interested in a meet-up, please reply or post ideas.

Well, since we are a little slow, I thought I would chime in with a few odd things I saw at TRU while looking for baby stuff for a friend. Battling Prime and Megatron bubblebath bottles, and a childs Transformers grooming kit. They sure did whore this line out to everything.

I hit the Smokey Pt Target and Marysville Wal-Mart on my way home and showed incredible restraint. Not in my purchases, but by not pummeling the cashier at Target after he indicated that he was a TF "fan" and that he was proud of being able to get TF's 10% discounted and then turn around and sell then on e-bay for a high mark-up. Between the fact that security was right close by and I wasn't sure if the guy was 18 (can't kick the crap out of a minor unless he swings on me first and I let him connect) I decided it was in my best interest to just take my purchase and go. The urge to rip him a new one on my way out the door was very very strong.

On a positive note, I was able to pick up Deluxe Class Longarm and I snagged a few RH sets (Bumblebee/Starscream and Protoform "Jazz"/Brawl at Wal-Mart. Still no sign of Scout Class Stongarm. Mr. Dipwad at Target was kind enough to tell me half a dozen different ways I could track him down, to which I just smiled, told him thanks and left. I only smiled because I envisioned 4 flat tires on whatever POS he happens to drive and him being stranded in the cold.

Almost forgot to mention that I also got the Decepticon Ornament to go with the Autobot one I bought last week. For having a lot of people scoff and roll their eyes when these things first came out, the TF ornaments can't be that bad if they are the only "Themed" ornaments that are out of stock while Star Wars, Seahawks and Nascar display boxes are still half full.

Question for the 25th Anniv. 'Joe collectors...

Besides Flint, which other figures are folks having a hard time tracking down? I figure that I would distract myself from the frustration of not finding Strongarm or Legends Starscream and instead be frustrated over not finding stuff from an entirely different product line altogether. :P

I am only missing Flint and Zartan from the 15 that are out now. Saw Zartan at Fred Meyer and somehow passed on him cause he was a Big $6.99. Dumb, because these are for my canadian cousin, and because they are $12 +13% tax up there the few times that he has found them. I hear that the last revision of the Wave 3 cases has Flint (BB of GI Joe) in them. Too bad there are never singles at any stores.

Ok, did I open a whole new can of worms for myself today? Since I have everything I wanted from the movie line and am still looking for Joes for my cousin, I decided to buy my first set of Robot Heroes, Bumblebee vs. Soundwave. Anyone think these are worthwhile, cause I have a feeling I am gonna end up buying them all at some point in time now that I have one.

Edit: No one has seen the Walmart Exclusive Robot Heroes in months have they by chance?

Wish I had realized Zartan was a sought after one. They had one at Marysville Wal-Mart wednesday evening.
As for the Robot Heroes...I got my first couple just because I thought they looked cute, in a cool kind of way not bunnies and kittens, fluffy B.S. I'm now up to 25 Robot Heroes and I'm going to suggest to my ex-wife that if the kids want to find me something cool for Christmas, they can track down the ones I don't have from the first wave.
So, there is a better than average chance that not only will you get hooked on the RH figures, you may spy something in the Marvel line that you can't live without. (I split the Punisher/Ghostrider pack with my ex. Punisher and Supermetal Finish Megs and Op have their own shelf while the rest of my RH stuff is diplayed on a lower, kid friendly shelf.)

Not sure if he is sought after or if I am just running into bad luck with him. I have a bad feeling that I am gonna nail down all the G1 Robot Heroes in the next couple days. Not getting that WM Sneak Attack is gonna end up pissing me off. Ah well, this will give me something to waste my time on.

Well, sounds like everyone is doing well on Transformers. If you are still looking for Joes, they are showing up pretty well right now. Saw about 40-50 of them over the past two days. Got my cousin his Zartan, and finally found Flint tonight at midnight right after the restock at Walmart. Now the only question left is do I keep Flint for myself, or be a good cousin and send it to Canada. Happy hunting all.

Nothing new Transformers wise..pretty much waiting for the Allspark and Animated stuff.

At the Lynnwood WM a few nights back I was able to pick up 5 galactic Hunt SW Figures (I have never seen ANY before): Airborne Trooper, Ceremonial Luke, Concept Stormtrooper, Concept Chewbacca and Holiday Special Boba Fett. I was pretty excited!

As for G.I. Joe yesterday I found at Lynwood WM Beachhead (my fav next to Snakeyes) and a second Red Ninja. They had a few Firefly's and a Serpentor. Thanks to my dad he picked me up a Buzzer and Serpentor and T. picked me up a Flint! So I am pretty much caught up besides the new wave that has come out. All I have left is Wave 5 and on (besides the Snakeyes I got the Cobra and Joe 5 packs).

So I walked into Auburn Fred Meyer today, not expecting to find anything, and what do I find? Ironhide, Starscream, FB Jazz, G1 Jazz, the Bee's, and Arcee.

Of course I didn't have any ****ing money! >_<

You can't mean the G1 recolor Jazz, because that was a Target exclusive. And I don't think you mean the original G1 Jazz, because that would be impossible. :)

Those figures are making a comeback at TRUs.

If I had my phone on me, I would've taken a pic. Unless I was imagining it...

EDIT:
I just know I was pissed, because I wanted at least Concept Bee...

EDIT:
I went back to Fred Meyer, this time with money, and I picked up Concept Bee and Ironhide. I double-checked that Jazz, turned out to be a FAB Jazz. Don't know how I confused that with the G1 repaint...I think it had something to do with finding all of the movie line TF's that i've been looking for, and wasn't thinking straight for not bringing money with me. SORRY. (Hopefully won't make that mistake again.)
