Yo Rodimus, I also have visited Sam's Club quit a few times (less than a mile away) to find that 3-pack. No luck thus far. Sometimes Sam's can put things in random places. :-?

T-Macksimus wrote:Well, I guess I found my limitation as far as going without that familiar exhiliration. The hunt is on for me now that I have found Legend class Blackout at the Everett Target. There was no dsignated area for it, no space on an end-cap, just 2 of 'em laying on the shelf under the 25th Anniv. GI Joes. (Now there's only 1. ) The also had nearly every scout class except Strongarm...of course.
Suffice it to say, I am now fired up to hunt down Legends Starscream before the next wave comes out and I plan to have Strongarm in my possesion by Saturday night come hell or high water!

On a milder side note, I also picked up my first TF Christmas Ornament of the season. Should look good on the tree nestled amongst Wolverine and my Tazmanian Devil Ornaments. I have a Taz tree topper with him wearing angel wings and a black leather biker jacket, which may seem like an odd thing to have but once you have actually met me, you'll realize that yeah, that actually is pretty fitting.
I'm sure Matt and Tony will back me up on this, right guys?

t mack - i was at the target in west seattle last tuesday and im pretty sure they had strong arm there. if you really want him, let me know and i'll go out there and pick him up for you.

Rodimus, I think I'll take you up on that one. So far, I should be able to catch up with you just about any time this weekend. I have about 2 hours of work to do in Mt. Vernon but that will probably be done early Saturday (if my boss has his end of the job done in time) so if you do snag it I should be able to catch up with you anytime. Location doesn't matter, I travel for work anyway so I'm used to any kind of commute. If it is later next week, work will be lite until I take off thursday morning for Wenatchee, so anytime is good. I just want to bag the little bugger before the next round of Scout class comes out. I appreciate you looking/tracking down for me.
And if anyone finds Legends Starscream this weekend before I do, please snag it for me. Even if someone gets it and I still find one myself, I'll buy it off whoever. I have 2 kids and Legends are perfect stocking stuffer size. Thanks in advance...

Um...If anyone needs a Cybertron Primus, Covington Wal-Mart has easily 35-40 on stock. I didn't have the time to look for if they came with the Unicron head, sorry.

Not in need of one but I have to admit that I have been tempted to buy one just for the sake of seeing the quantity of the things drop a little. What has been frustrating is the fact that I managed to get a Supreme Class Starscream clearanced for $24.99 at Target only 1/2 way through the series. Now that the Cybertron series is old news you would think Wal-Mart would start clearancing them out just to make some room. I do actually want one but I'm not willing to pay full price for outdated and overstocked figures. The endcap space could be better utilized with stock of Exclusives or even some of the Classics line. (Constructicons & Soundwave are all I need to complete the series. I'm not counting the Cheeseimus Prime DVD figure).

Yesterday morning bright and early I hit Marysville, Everett, and Lynnwood Walmart and none had MP SS - I think SS has left the building.

Marysville did have over 8 Concept BBs. I didn't mention it yesterday because I think everyone here has one and it gives the kiddies out there a chance.

As consulation my wife let me pick up MP Skywarp and he is VERY well done. Not crazy about the Dr. (cant remember his name) figure and Skywarp's torso doesn't snap in place so well, but those are minor points. He is definantly worth getting.

On a non-hunting run to Target last night I found Wave 2 Movie Robot Heroes. They just had Arm. BB with SS and Ironhide with Bonecrusher. I got both.

The weird thing is, I was there on Saturday and they had nothing new put out and Sunday they still had nothing new and the pegs of Movie Robot Hereos were loaded. These may have been put out by mistake.

On a side note, Bonecrusher has gotten very little attention. For a 'bot that tackled Prime off a highway, while himself lit on fire - and all we have is one deluxe. Ironhide, also a G1 alumni does not have many figs either.

Was at Walmart last night, and they had Deluxes at about $2 off if anyone still needs any of them. I will roll to Bestbuy tomorrow and see if they happen to have any of the exclusives. If they do, I will pick them up and sit on them, cause if you don't have the Megatron, he is a must have figure IMO.

Weird, picked up MISB 10th Anniversary Beast Wars Dinobot....from, from....Value Village? I guess they purchased them from a retail store? The sad part was that V.V. decided to put a $10.00 price tag on them :-( However when I got top the register it rang up to $4.98!!!

There were about 6 left, the spider one, rat trap and one more dino. Maybe all V.V.s are carrying them?

Also picked up Legends Blackout and Starscream

Have a great Thanksgivng all...and don't forget to take your fiber

Anyone shopping on Black Friday? I'll be in Marysville at midnight. I'll probably hit Circuit City (maybe a DS, but definately picking up Madden) and BestBuy (TV: Samsung 40'' is tempting and so is the External HD, will pick up the HD for sure if there are any left) as well.

On another note, my former employer tried to get me to work Black Friday.

Barrelass- You can pick one up at Pink Godzilla in the International Disct. Not sure of the price, but I'm guessing around $120, they had Alt. Nem. Prime for $60.

I think Best Buy is my place on Black Friday. Want the Sony camera, but doubt it will still be there, cause I don't want to fight the crowds in the morning.

Im hoping I am reading their advertisement right, cause I would like to get:
The Office Season 3
Family Guy Volume 5
Entourage Season 3.2
300

No Best Buy Transformers exclusives today there, nothing special anywhere else, except the Deluxes on sale at Walmart and Target for $7.99. Did have to help a lady searching for Starscream. I guess her son flies F-22's (first time I have had to look like a transformers nerd in public, it was bound to happen).

Hey Barrelass, embrace the nerdiness and harness its power for good...like making arrogant TRU employees look like fools during the christmas shopping rush. I did it during the Energon series helping streams of parents with long lists of figures and either blank or just plain confused looks on their faces. After a while the employees just left the area alone because I was directing folks better than they were able to, and not just with Transformers. :P

For any of you attempting to shop on Black Friday, while I would love to offer up my crowd clearing services, I will be spending the day with my kids while their mother and grandmother help add to the store chaos. However, my selection of blunt and some edged martial arts weapons are up for grabs (with a small refundable deposit). The Bo staff and 3 Section Staff are great for aisle clearing while my large selection of Nunchaku are great for deterring (sp?) aggressive moms attempting to reach for the same item you are after. Due to liability issues I cannot offer my Wakizashi this year but the heat should be off by the 2010 Christmas Season. Good Luck To All...and remember, go for the kneecaps and you've got it made!

I picked him up at a local store in Northgate called Kicks Hobby. They still have MP Skywarp ($110) and unaltered MP Megs ($150). They also have all the Encore figures for less than what Target or Walmart are offering.

It's a nice shop, with decent prices; but I always feel out of my element with all the anime stuff there...

Black Friday

Postby Cyberjet #7 » Wed Nov 21, 2007 10:43 am

On Black Friday I'll be hitting TRU and Target bright and early to round out my TF sealed set and to look for other figures (SW).

Is anyone here still needing anything TF related?

Checked Kicks Hobby out online, I may have to run up there one of these days, but I could drop a load of money on stuff I probably don't really need.

The anime guys are probably saying the same kind of stuff about us. But they sure are weirdos.

On another note, does anybody know if Optimash Prime is on clearance anywhere yet. I may buy a few of them as Christmas presents for my nephews/friends kids.

Today was the first time I saw Concept Camaro Bumblebee at a store this late. He had a bad paint job, probably why he's still there.

I almost picked up Classic Rodimus, but I passed.

If anyone runs into Classic Bumblebee or Starscream, could you stash it for me?

Thanks.

Well, not Transformer related, but Black Friday related. I was able to pick up the external HDs I wanted from BestBuy online, so that saves me to trip to face the crowds. I did have to pay for shipping, but overall I think it's worth it to not have to deal with lines and crowds.

I guess I'll just go to the Outlets and Circuit City.

Hey Cyberjet, in answer to your question, I'm still cruzin' for the Target Scout Class Strongarm and a Legends Starscream. Everything else I'm after can wait but those two, small as they are, are bugging me badly as far as the holes in my collection go. Since I have no intentions of getting within rock-throwing distance of any stores till at least midnight Friday/Saturday if you (or anyone else who comes across them) can snag them and then let me know, I'll be very quick to pick-up and repay. I won't be out and about till my ex returns home sometime early Friday afternoon
(she's leaving for the outlet stores 11:00 tonight) but after that, I can make connections.
