Anybody here watch any web series on Youtube or elsewhere? I'm talking about "TV" shows on the web.
One of them is
We Need Girlfriends, which is the best one I've seen so far. It's even getting an actual television series soon. Give it a shot. The first episode is a little better than so-so, but it hits its stride in the second one. It ended after eleven episodes, probably because the producers were offered a TV deal. It's your typical guys trying to muddle through relationships show, but it's better than most TV shows of the same subject.
The people who made this also made a show called
I Live With My Parents, which isn't bad, too, but it seems to have stopped after two episodes (though the third might just be late), so I don't know if it actually constitutes a series. I give it points for referring to the Zombie Survival Guide. The characters in this remind me of the guys from Step Brothers.
Another is called
The Black Dawn, which isn't bad, but a little ham-acted. It would have probably made a better movie or video game. The credits take up about half its running time. This is your typical post-apocalypse show. The production value seems really good, but it's light on SFX and they make it work for them.
The last is called
The 21 Conspiracy, which is a show about what happens after you turn 21. An X-Files wanna-be thing, but not totally bad.
There's also the College Humour guys, but you can't really call anything they make a series (aside from the Office clone series) because they're all one-shots.
