hi again movie fans,
if soundwave got included in TF2, should welker voice soundwave or not. what do you think?

I remember reading in another forum that people thought it sounded like Welker was Bonecrusher, as seen in the clip of Optimus and Bonecrusher fighting.

Welker should voice Soundwave, but I feel that they could get anyone to voice Soundwave and alter his voice with whatever they used in the series and it would still be Soundwave.

they would need welker to do sounwave...if they wanted soundwave to sound like soundwave..

welker didnt just talk into the vocoder he used his cruelous voice from dinoriders and they vocoded that...

I think it would be cool to have Welker to a voice in the TF movies.

But isn't Soundwave : Frenzy in the film? At least what I read from the storyline.

Welker for Soundwave, Welker for Soundwave. Soundwave Superior............Constructicons Inferior!. Thats my fav phrase from him in the movie as well. Also " I summoned you here, on a purpose...." "Nobody Summons Megatron.NOBODY!!!"

In the orginial script, Frenzy was Soundwave, but it was change because the character had nothing in common with Soundwave other thann the alt. mode.

I would like to see Welker in another transformers movie, but I won't lose any sleep over it.

I'd say they would just about HAVE to use Welker. Considering that they have 2 characters already that were going to be Soundwave that got renamed (Blackout & Frenzy) because they wanted to "get him right"....it wouldn't make sense to go through so much trouble to just throw anybody's voice into a vocoder.....especially after the decision to use Cullen as Prime because Cullen WAS the voice of Prime (they had some interview lately about how much trouble they went through convincing the execs that he was the only choice for the part)...& somehow, despite the fact that Megs is the leader of the Decepticons, Soundwave seems to be the best remembered 'con, in part due to his unique voice.

Yeah, sure, anybody could to it, but Welker would be the best choice.....especially since he does animal voices they could also sign him on to do Laserbeak & Ravage(you know they would....Soundwave's not much without his trusty microcassette buddies)...

they will only use him if he voice seems right for a character. he didnt seem right for megatron so maybe someone else. i kind of hope he is in a sequal but it wont bother me if hes not.

Well, given the fact that Soundwave talks a little like a Speak-And-Spell, I think anybody with a reasonably deep voice would do. ...Or perhaps just cast a Speak-And-Spell.
