I know they are repainting the toy in G1 colors, but are they really bringing the character back from the dead?

Hard to say. A script hasn't even been written yet. But if you ask me, if they can bring back Jean Gray in X-men after having a lake fall on top of her....surely they could find a way to revive Jazz.

Maybe, but Jean Grey has been killed off and brought back in every version of X-Men. Since this is the first time Jazz has been killed off.....

The only way Jazz could be his g1 colorscheme is if the real-life racing team whose colorscheme Has/Tak swiped in the first place would allow them to use their racing design.

They could use something similar, but not to the point that it looks like a direct ripoff. They would probably want to use something also that didn't look like a specialized racing vehicle....that wouldn't be a very good disguise....wouldn't look street legal.

....Then again, when did TFs shift from only worrying about hiding from each other to only hiding from humans?

Actually I think Singer would do a good job if he directed TF2. Besides, I think Paramount owes him for passing him up to direct Star Trek.
