Indiana Jones and the Seven Veils - it's funny how expanded universes are better than the stuff movie directors put together years after their golden age.

'I Am Number Four' by Pittacus Lore
"The Throne of Fire' and 'The Red Pyramid' by Rick Riordan
And if you have a LOT of time on your hands, 'It' by Stephen King
Don't even try to read 'Revenge of the Fallen' the novel. I don't even understand what the heck he's saying half the time.

This might sound weird, but I've actually written a few short stories myself. I've written four (The Thing in the Basement, Out of the Woods, Across Two Worlds, and The Horror at Brookville Lake). None of them are published, but I'm going to try and put them on the Internet somehow.
I've also tried several times to write a longer novel, but twice it's failed at around 30 pages long, once at over 120! I just came up with a really good idea the other day, and I hope I don't fall flat on this one, cuz it's gonna be good.
If I do ever get those stories online, I'll post the address to my website (which doesn't exist yet) on this forum.
WARNING: I'm thirteen years old, and all for of these stories are pretty ridiculous and terribly written. I know they're bad, and two of them in particular are really gross and gory. You've been warned.

I bought it, read it before the movie came out, and it makes a lot more sense than the movie did. The book is actually a good TF story.

I just finished Watchers by Dean Koontz. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
Probably going to read Stephen King's Under the Dome next. I'm a little put off by its length, though...
EDIT: I want to get my hands on more Dean Koontz novels, but I don't know which ones I should get. Could someone kindly recommend me a few?

I'd read Ghosts of Yesterday before the first movie came out, and really disliked it. While I'd heard good things about the ROTF novel, GoY spoiled TF novelizations for me. I know, I know, I live in a basement and am a neckbearded Geewunner. I sort of just didn't care for the novelization.
Currently reading volume 1 of Dostoevsky's Diary of a Writer.

I am looking for a good book to read next, I just finished Dracula by Brahm Stoker.
I am also writing a book called "TIME", hopefully it will be a good novel to read.

Started reading Shattered by Dean R. Koontz. It's one of Dean Koontz's early works. So far so good.

Yeah, same here. I started it, but it was very slow and plodding, so I barely finished it and had no interest in the others.

For better or worse, the rest of the series has a vastly different feel than The Gunslinger. So if there were some elements you enjoyed in it, it might be worthwhile to give The Drawing Of The Three.
I'm all caught up on the Horus Heresy series now. Age of Darkness was much better than I expected. I also got one of the 3000 copies of the Promethean Sun novella! Can't wait to dig in this weekend!

Tomb of Fire is on my list to read soon.
I managed to haul myself out of bed a few hours early to hop online and pre order my copy.
There are a few up for auction on eBay. If you don't mind inflated prices, then you should be able to get a hold of one.

I liked the first book of the Salamanders better, but I've always liked books that focuses on armies beating the heck out of armies instead of a Single Space Marine vs whatever horrific odds the universe (or the Warp) throws at him.
Still a good read though.

Currently not reading any books at the moment, but since I was young, I've been heavily addicted to the DragonLance series, once owned by TSR, now owned by Wizards of the Coast. I've got ALL their books, including the art books and the actual Campaign books for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and 3.0/3.5, etc.

Finished the Game of thrones. Moved onto its sequel, the Clash of Kings.
On the side, read a far side anthology (hey, it counts :mrgreen), a book on corrupt popes throughout history, and a Deadpool comic done in a pulp novel style. WIN!
