Ratchet was the only Autobot letdown, all the others are awesome, but since I custom-painted Ratchet he has rocketed back up (now he's got a proper paint job and face), so technically I'm not disappointed with any of the Autobots.

Blackout is the biggest disappointment for me. I still like his alt. mode though; I keep him in that mode.

*wishes for a supreme Blackout*

I'm not disappointed with Wreckage or Bonecrusher.

Any Ratchet Pics?

Tis why I skipped that repaint, if I didn't like it the first time around, I can't see why I'd like it the second.

Who's he a repaint of? I just saw him for the first time today at a TRU in Kirkwood, MO and decided to grab him.

Cybertron ThunderCracker. I'm unfamiliar with your area, so I don't wanna sound sarcastic when I ask, did the show not air out by you?

Either way, the only thing they almost got right on that mold was the head, the rest of it sucked, and the SkyWarp redeco is a total pass.

Sounds like an awful amount of driving on your part. Meeting half way would be ideal. 2 people can cover a lot of ground up to that point. At the rendezvous ... combine and head in another direction.

With some planning, it could be quite the toy haul!

Cybertron Supreme Starscream. He has too limited a range of
motion for me. And no, not even the crown saves him.
Why should it?

Didn't help in '86.

Cybertron Soundwave, while still totally kickass, those un-poseable legs make him unstable, it takes me 10 minutes just to get him to stand up!

Movie '07 Voyager Starscream. I like the design but the figure just isn't great. He poses really good, but those missiles just shoot out way way waaaaay too easily. His head sculpt is way to flat, like the movie model walked into a wall or something and got his head all squished. Paint job is really good though.

Movie '07 Ironhide, another good figure, but he can't be posed without falling down thanks to those wonky legs that can barely support the weight of his upper-body.

Cybertron Downshift. I know he is super-duper popular with the fans, but he doesn't pose too well, his head can't move without the mod and, like I said with Starscream earlier, his missiles shoot out too easily - you can barely handle wis weapons without them firing off.

Motto: "Victory if nothing if you don't enjoy everything leading to it."
Beast Wars Optimal Optimus. No quality issues here, save for the face that it was just a gargantuan disappointment all around. Granted, I should have figured that in the process of transforming into four things, the various modes might all look alike, but this went too far. Even RiD Megatron displayed cool differences between the various modes and that had, what, 10 alt modes? Give or take several. Plus, I'm not a fan for Big-Chest-Guns-Rrrragh! that don't retract or tuck back in some way, shape or form. Decent articulation and good quality control, though. Not enough to ruin the overall design for me, though.

Lets see...

Energon Slugslinger. Cybertron Cliffjumper. Classics Grimlock, man those arms suck in both modes!

Now for the movie guys. I maybe only have Barricade, Wreckage, Jazz, Swindle, Ironhide, Speed Dial 800 and now Voyager Megatron and I can honestly say the only 2 who I like are Wreckage and Speed Dial. ALL the other suck majorly. Barricade won't stay together especially with that arm of his, Jazz has no hands at all, Kinda hard to do anything without hands. Swindle.... too many springs. His head refusesd to stay in place unless I force something up against it. Irondhide..... Don't get me started with hoodhead. Megs..... he wasn't even 5 minutes old before I found his fatal flaw. The "Automorph" feet that don't do a dang thing. All they are are spring loaded tabs that want to point down! What about those of us who don't always display our toys, but actually play with them. I hate the fact that his feet are always pointed straight down!

Planning is the key, no point running around on a week that Hasbro isn't delivering anything good, or in between pay periods.

As for the driving, I love driving, and again, my company payes for gas so I feel it's better to let them flip that bill than us!

We're gonna need toy money, However meeting half way is a good idea, I say lets start by Rockaway Mall, it's either 35 or 25 off rt80.

But you gotta keep up, I move quick! I can get you from there all the way down 46, up 17 into Paramus, then down into Jersey City and back all between dinner and lunch. It would be about 10-17 stops.

When you travel like I have to, you learn to map things out and somehow the world gets smaller

Agreed, and I'm glad to see so many people not liking the Classic Grimlock, It seemed for a while speaking against him was like wiping your A$$ with the Shroud of Turin or something, but thats one potentialy awesome bot that just didn't come out well in the end.

Energon SludgeSlinger is someone else I have to agree with you on, to me that guy is just a bunch of loose parts in need of clips.

As for Movie Meg's feet, I hear everyone on that, but on mine, as soon as I put him down the feet do spread back out, and he stands well, so that was not one of my gripes with that toy. I could see if you wanted to do a kick pose it being anoying, but it's not a big deal to me.

The oversimplistic transformation, is an issue though. To me a TRANSFORMER should be more than a figure that just lays down.

Also the cannon on the wrong arm was anoying, but it's such an easy fix, that I can't see carring at all about it anymore.

But most of all, YES, Movie Jazz is a waste of money and plastic!

I have my own story in my collection, so get ready here it goes. I got alot of BW figs before I started rebuilding my G1 Collection so keep that in mind as...

TM1 Megatron found G1 Megatron and recreated himself into TM2 Megatron. However in all this G1 Megatron came back on line himself.

At this point Gigatron(RID MEGATRON) an evolved Magmatron was leading the Peredicons and Decepticons to sure destruction, so G1 Megatron, knowing he himself was a powerful yet older model bot had the BW/BM Megatrons take just a fraction of his spark and make him a new body. Basicly a sentient drone most of you know as Armada Megatron.

This worked well for a while, but this drone was reduced to less than a shell by the hands of Ferox Unicron, and his spark core was torn out.

During this time, G1 Megs saw it was the AutoBots lead by the Convoys who not only kept defeating the Cons, but also had the most luck in keeping Unicron at bay.

So he then had the BW Megatrons create a Decepticon Convoy, Scourge, to lead his armies for him. Many Decepticons and Predicons hated the idea of a Convoy commandeer, but he was ruthless and got results, so they followed.

At this time the disembodied spark core of Armada Megatron began building a new body for itself, and reemerged(Energon Megatron) reclaiming control over the Decepticons while on an Autobot head hunting spree. He was now unbound by G1 Megs control, as his new body lacked the limitations of his first.

Scourge, wanting revenge, seeked out Unicron for more power and was given an army which he quickly used to take back control of the Decepticons.

(new) Megatron, not wanting to be bested scanned Unicron himself for scematics for a new more powerful body and remade himself into Lord(Cyberton) Megatron, a name he took to quickly as his new body was flawed.

Knowing this he did not truely rebel against Scourge, and followed his lead. This more than anything agrivated him deep inside.

At this point however G1 Megatron saw his leigons going in to many different directions and decided to (This time himself) create a new avatar. Classic Megatron. He was to be a direct link between himself and the troops, and keep order in the chaos of so many commandeers.

He also had a secret assingment to reclaim that inital spark fragment bestowed on Armada Megatron, as that line proved both unworthy and to trecherious of keeping the privledge of being himself.

While proving himself to Scourge, classic Megatron did just that, as he defeated the Unicron Trilogy Megatrons, and was only ested by Scourge himself.

Classic Megatron then took that fragment and created Wreckage, a bot who could walk through the feilds, interacting with others while they themselve would think he's just another soldier, as apose to a sectet link to G1 Megatron himself.

In his actins, Wreckage is silently pulling many strings. He is also fighting his urges to unleash his true power, as he knows at the moment drawing such attention to himself would be unwise.

Lord Megatron, now at a depressed low, decided if not to every one than to himself, would prove his greatness and attacked the AutoBot/Maximal alliance, and was bitterly beaten.

In ruin, he was further assaulted by Dark Scorponock who in his own convoluted way recognised the fallen tyrrant.

To further this insult, RatTrap converted the seemingly lifeless shell of his body into a makeshift house for himself.

All the while, his mind stayed active, building in rage over his countless defeats, to the point where his broken spark took a new life of its own. No longer a Megatron, this was a new Bot born of hatred and rage.

He dubbed himself Fury in his madness as he stuck out and attacked the Decepticons savagly, as he knew they where part of his humiliations.

That done, we turned his attentions on the AutoBots, but was beheaded by TigerHawk, who kept his head as a trophy.

As his body fell it was tracked by Cryo-Scourge, who still sorting through his own issues chose to freeze the behemoth.

Still, the rage that fathered Fury is hotter than any ice could be cold, and from his own spare parts he generated his own avatar(Voyager Fury) tasked with finding his head, and restoring his rage.

-------------------------------------------

If you look at Cyberton Megs and Movie Leader Megs, they have alot of the same kibble so this made sense to me.

Also if you've only read protions of this, well I wrote it out once, but a computer glitch cleared it, so in rewriting it, I did a part, hit edit, did the next, and so no...

My story to my Collective runs much deeper than this, if anyone wants to know more, maybe I'll do some stuff in the fan fiction forum too.

The KT Devastaror mini bust is a pretty good fill in, and you can find it on Ebay pretty cheap now. I have that along with Rumble and Frenzy joining my RobotHeros.
