this is how i would like for transformers 2 to work: feel free to add you're own ideas...maybe we can start a nice brain storm session up and perhaps even help the writers of the sequels out with some ideas....seriously.

anyways, decepticons (soundwave specifically) pick up optimus primes speach stating that they are on earth or barricade transmits to cybertron and soundwave picks it up stating what happened and that the need reinforcements to get megatron back. soundwave heeds the call (OPERATION.....SOMETHING COOL HERE)and brings in our new decepticon team for this movie...this group while arriving at earth will land at a construction site () while soundwave keeps his cybertronian form and hides out till he is needed. (i dont feel he would need an earth mode this time around plus it would keep him more similar to his g1 counterpart in appearance, and allthough soundwave is myfavorite transformer i dont see him having a huge roll this time around action wise, however he will be pulling most of the strings)

barricade not knowing that starscream wants megatron dead also contacts starscream about what happened, starscream comes back to lead the decepticons on the mission to fetch megatron (this is where starscreams character will really come out)

once on earth starscream basically plays both fields, he pretends to want to find megatron like he did in the prequel book but in actuality hes trying to set the decepticons up for failure....soundwave seems to pick up on this but keeps to himself

meanwhile the autobots have met up with some new comrades, i really dont care who they are...they basically used all the autobot characters i cared about allready, i suppose they could bring in hot rod and arcee for the girls. we can start the autobot scene off with bumblee bee and hotrod racing or something to show hotrods young and rebelious behavior or whatever, as long as it gets imprinted into the audience that that is hotrods persona...i see this movie focusing on the decepticons.

i didnt think the whole story out, just the intro and the ending so let me jump to that, i see the ending with constructicons merging to form devastor..this focuses all attention of the autobots to him while soundwave goes after to repair megatron....starscream sees that his plan is not working and has no choice but to intercept soundwave and prevent him from getting to megatron...there then unfolds a battle between soundwave and starscream (how epic would that be??) of course starscream would have to be more powerful but this is where hotrod and his persona comes in....hotrod sees starscream heading towards the spot megatron was dumped...he leaves the battle to "be the hero" and goes after starscream....prime tries to stop him...but he wont listen..prime has no choice but to let him go knowing starscream will kill him (if prime leaves the fight, devestator will kill the rest of the autobots..prime has to make one of those leader decisions and you feel for him) hot rod persues starscream who walks right into soundwave and his fight....sounwave detects hotrod in the premises and uses his stealth like persona to come off as an autobot that hear optimus' call...soundwave and hotrod both fight starscream untill starscream is demobilized....both are injured however hot rod..the young punk who tries to be the hero all the time, is far more damaged...he goes to celebrate with soundwave, who in turn blasts him away demobilizing him....soundwave then proceeds to get to megatron.....

meanwhile devastator is tearing up the city, eventaully the humans find a weakness or something and get him to disengage and break into his seperate forms...now we have a full out war between the autobots and decepticons...id like to see a royal rumble type bral in the city...not him vs him, but them vs them..everyone fighting everyone else.....eventually the autobots team up with the army again and find a way to defeat the decepticons.......the credits roll and after they are finished you see megatrons eyes light up and "I...I STILL FUNCTION" alterting the audeince that soundwave accomplished his mission and setting tf3 up with the return of megatron

You have some interesting ideas down there.

Personally I think Megatron is too interesting of a character to leave until 3. I would love for him to have more of a roll in the sequel, and maybe get brought back to life during the first half of the flick. Just my thoughts.

Also, I do love devastator, but I feel like they would have to flesh out a reason for the constructicons to be combiners. Honestly I'm just now getting back into transformers, so my knowledge of the characters is pretty sketchy. I can't recall if they had a decent reason for it in the cartoon other than as a gimmick. I just think it would be more interesting if they expanded upon the combiners idea to make it logical for the films.

thats pretty impressive, only one gripe...Devastator....i think the c'cons merging into a bot of that name looks abit tacky due to dev he tank in 1 but apart from that SEND IT TO EM lol
