Hi, I find this info while I was searching information for Springer, can you give me more information about the death of Smokescreen? Thanks..

When the Cybertronian Empire ambushed the Autobots on the planet Ethos, Springer was in charge of a squad consisting of former Wreckers buddies Inferno and Broadside, Inferno's buddy Smokescreen, and Ironhide. Although Springer warned his squad to stay close together, Smokescreen broke formation, resulting in his death and the injuring of Ironhide. Smokescreen's death caused Inferno to lose his temper, who subsequently also died despite Springer's warnings.

I believe this happen in G2.

The comics have there own storyline. There are even different storylines in different lines of comics.

That's unknown. He was one of the many charectors that weren't shown to have died but didn't make an appearence in Season 3.
