Starscream's Brigade wrote:My girlfriend doesn't share my love, but she does support it. We went to see the movie and when I picked her up she surprised me with an LOC Barricade. She also got me the complete DVD set of G1 cartoons (including the movie) for my birthday
Jeysie wrote:If I had a boyfriend, I'd support almost any of his hobbies as long as they were legal, not dangerous, and the bills were still getting paid and the common areas of the house still clean.
Never really understood a lot of women's seeming need to dump on their man's hobbies, especially since in some cases they're shooting themselves in the foot. For instance, I have some barbershop-singing friends whose wives rag on them about it, when barbershopping is pretty darn high on the list of hobbies you'd want your guy to have, IMHO.
Anyhoo. I like a lot of "guy" hobbies myself, so the point is mostly moot in my case. And at this point I can't afford to be picky anyway.

She's a saint.

I did I have a girlfriend at one point that said I had to give up Tf collecting if I wanted her to stick around. I kicked her to the curb.

My Transformers are still going to be their long after she has left me for the guy she was cheating on me with.

Autobot032 wrote:No one's asking you to give up the collection, but if you really have no hope...to that degree, no woman will want to stick around. She most certainly won't want to help you climb out of the pit you're in if you're constantly pushing her hand away as she reaches out to you.
If I looked at life as sad as that (and I get depressed!)...I think I'd probably drink myself under the table every night and pop pills along with it.
Wow. Just...wow.
Seriously, life isn't that bad man!
