Loved:
1. Optimus Prime - kicking @$$ and taking names. "I'll take you all on!" God bless you, Peter Cullen!
2. Ravage - from being a symbiote of Soundwave, to the whole "robotic kitty from hell" look of his design, he was awesome. Well done - a perfect meshing of G1 homage and new school aesthetics.
3. Starscream - I'm glad our favorite plotter and schemer got more speaking parts this go-round. The Megs-Screamer scene after Megs' resurrection was classic, as was the whole "Not that I'm calling you a coward, Master, but..." line.
4. Sideswipe - "Damn, I'm good!" Yes, yes he is. The use of the wheel-feet was done well, and the disection of Sideways, was sweet. More on 'Swipe in the "stuff I'd have changed" section.
5. Jetfire - a pleasant surprise. Going into the movie, I kept thinking, "How will they pull off a geriatric TF?" Well, they did and it worked.
"Things I'd Change"
1. More air time for Sideswipe. In fact, why couldn't we have Sunstreaker too? I realize that two yellow cars is probably going to cause confusion, so why couldn't he be some kind of a gold color. I can picture the two of them trying to out-do each other throughout the movie and bickering about who looks better, fights better, etc. That wouldn've been much more enjoyable than Skids and Mudflap. Which leads me to....
2. The twins - not because of all the hub-bub about whether the twins are racist or not (I don't think that they are) but instead because I think that they got entirely too much screen time. I'd have rather seen any of the other bots for a few more minutes, and had the twins on screen for about half the time.
3. No Humping - ok, did we really need to see three humping jokes? IMO, the first one was funny, the other two were not needed, especially the Wheelie/Michaela instance. Maybe I'm just getting old....
4. Simmons & the Rail Gun - maybe I missed something (plan to follow closer the second time around) but just how do you explain Simmons being able to order the firing of a weapon that isn't supposed to exist? What ship captain in their right mind would actually follow the orders of some random guy who just happens to know about such a weapon? I'm open to ideas here, but usually those kinds of orders are double and triple checked with Commander-in-Chief authorization. Way too convenient.
5. NEST - how about an explanation of what NEST stands for: National Extraterrestrial Swat Team? Maybe this is in the novel but I didn't hear acronym breakdown in the movie.
For the record, I did enjoy the movie, and will likely see it again in the theatres. I just think that there were some things that could've been done better.

Most hated transformers were:
The Twins, i liked them when they were first introduced when they sed go yo ice cream.... then they just ruined the movie when they were the only tranformers for more than half the movie, jeeze take them out and give more screen time to sideswipe, rachet and iron hide ,ratchet and ironhide were effin awesome int he first one.
And take out the protoform decepticons and show more of long haul im guessing the big huge birght green constructicon which looks really awesome
the people i liked:
well of course optimus was my favorite ever since G1 well i was born when g1 was out but when they re-released the show and toys again in the early 90's aka G2 he has been my favorite along with jazz
Sideswipe was sick in the movie too bad he was only in it for like 3 min.
I think they could of made more focus on iron hide, ratchet and sideswipe, and they coulda added more scenes with the constructicons, and just take out the protoforms and the twins they just werent needed.

Alice was my least favorite. Completly worthless and stupid idea, and it added nothing to the story, and they could of cut her from the script and maybe gave The Fallen more screen time, to make him appear more evil and scary, in which they failed hard at.
As for Favorite, probably Optimus just because he was so kick ass in this movie. He seemed kind of weak in the first Transformers movie, but this one he was kicking ass and taking names, like a Prime should!

Hated the twins, Demolisher, the Doctor, kitchen bots. Sick of all these TF's that don't look like TF's. We got a G1-esque head with Prime, why can't they all be like that? Plus all of the aforementioned overshadowed the cooler bots in the background. Not to mention, Bay made me like Prime in the first movie, which considering I never liked Optimus was an achievement, then kills him for half this one.
Jolt, Sideswipe, Long Haul, the Arcee-bots all looked cool but got hardly any screen time. Just don't understand why the cooler looking bots were overshadowed by the crap looking ones. I did like Soundwave but how hard would it have been to give us his G1 voice?
Oh and of course the worst TF from the first film got more screen time in this. I'm sorry but I don't like movie Ironhide. I do like Ratchet though.
Not a fan of Jetfire or Wheelie's appearances but they did have personalities.

Least favourite: Mudflap and Skids. I actually LIKE them, and I don't hate any TF in this movie, but I like them the least. On a scale of 1 - 10, I give pretty much all TFs 7 or above. The Twins come in at 5.
Favourite: Optimus, The Fallen, and the Dynasty. My favourite scene in the whole movie is the vision that the spirits of the Primes grant Sam. It was better than all the fight scenes IMO.

Coolest looking Transformer to me was Ravage (The long-shot when you saw his whole body)...
Worst looking Transformer to me was Ravage (The close shot when you saw his mono-eye and overall ooooglyness)
Alright getting more serious though, Starscream my fav-character BTW, looks like a garbage receptacle...Just absolutely shiteous in everyway...
Optimus (although I still despise the flames), and BumbbleBee (who has this weird headgear that appears and then disappears for reasons unknown) clearly avoided the ugly stick unlike most of the cast...

Re: What was your favorite and most hated ROTF Transformer? Why? *Spoilers!*
At first, the twins were actually decent. Skids's line of "It's an a**kicking, it's supposed to hurt" is downright hilarious. Then they got old. Personally, I would have replaced their parts (while travelling with Bumblebee, Sam, Leo, Mikaela, and Simmons) with that of Sideswipe (no wheel-foot, so as not to conflict with the cycle ladies) and one of the cycle ladies (who would have had a wheel on each leg that could transform into a proper foot).
Jetfire, while cool, would have made more sense as a historian that Wheelie happens to know, rather than a bot trapped in a museum.
Speaking of Wheelie, you know that scene where he humps Mikaela's leg? Alan Dean Foster's novelization had Wheelie hugging her leg instead. I would have gone with that, personally. I'm a stereotypical guy and it would have been freaking adorable to me.
My absolutely favorite part of the movie, though, was Optimus's scene in the forest. Megatron is attempting to get him to back off, saying "Is the future of our race not worth a single human life?"
Optimus delivers the perfect retort: "You'll never stop with one! I'll take you all on!" And he does. Holy hell in a handbasket. The man completely stomps three Decepticons, one of whom kicked his skidplate in the previous film. Granted, collateral damage was at a minimum, this time around, but Optimus has been working out, and he looked great.

Re: What was your favorite and most hated ROTF Transformer? Why? *Spoilers!*
First, the favourites:
Megatron-need I say more? Hopefully they will continue the banter and tension between Megatron and Starscream in the third movie, if there is one
The Fallen-like Megatron, was designed really well, he had an almost pharaoh-esque look to him (same with the good Primes, the scene with the Primes granting Sam their secret of the Matrix and returning him to life was quite moving)
Jetfire-nice addition, the Grandpa of the Transformers, I guess.
I loved how he sacrificed himself to improve Optimus Prime's capabilities so that he can beat the Fallen
Soundwave-good news, he's in! Bad news, he's on for only about 30 seconds of screentime. Hopefully if there is a Transformers 3, he'll be on even just a little bit longer.
The Battle at the Pyramids of Giza-absolutely epic
Now the bad:
The Twins-WHY?
Sam and Mikalea-those two are so annoying that being at the counter and listening to irate customers complain about everything doesn't sound so bad
Dirty jokes-ROTF could have done with the crude humour (Devastator's family jewels, Mojo humping Bonecrusher, Wheelie humping Megan Fox,) but then again it's aimed at high school kids who think that if you don't say THAT word or use any sexual content, then it's not funny.
The tardiness of Ratchet, Sideswipe, Arcee, Mixmaster, Long Haul- shame on the writers for not getting them more acclimated into the story, Arcee was only on screen for even less time than Soundwave (and he was barely on at all), and Ratchet really was not involved whatsoever

Totally agree with Ravage. They did a really good job on him especially with his launchers on the haunches. The one eye was off-putting, but ooh well.
Optimus just looked great to me, but I don't mind the flames.
Even though Starscream does look like a dorito trash can, his cgi was really quite good.

Re: What was your favorite and most hated ROTF Transformer? Why? *Spoilers!*
Favorite would have to be Jetfire. I love the crotchety old robot, I liked Kup as a kid and Jetfire was the same kind of awesome. and in G1 and the Unicron trilogy I found him largly ignorable but in this he made me want to see more. I was sad he died but he had an awesome reason to die. To give us the Ultimate Autobot.
Least favorite would probably be Alice. Even though she served a significant purpose I didnt like the way the Pretender worked it just ruined that portion of the film for me. Also she went down really easily She was like frenzy but with infinite organic storage space and reduced durability.

I'd have to say Sideswipe and Jetfire were my favorites in this film. Sideswipe looks cool and Jetfire's personality wasn't half bad. Wheelie was a vast improvement over his G1 predecessor, though the humping Mikela's leg scene was a little much in my opinion. It was too bad Sideswipe got comparitively little screen time; in fact, most of the secondary Autobots - Ironhide, Ratchet, Arcee, Sideswipe, and especially Jolt - got little in the way of screen time.
As for Transformers I hated, can't say I have one. I'll agree the Alice Pretender may not have served any obvious purpose, other than threaten the human "heros" of the film. I wasn't keen on Scalpel (the Doctor) either, maybe because I couldn't understand most of what he said.
My vote for the most useless Transformer in the film, though, has to go to Jolt. Why was he in this film? He's in maybe two scenes and he does precisely zilch, aside from magnetizing Prime and Jetfire's remains - and even then he could have been cut out. If they're going to spend the time and money to create a CGI model for the character, though could have at least put him in a few more battle scenes. Otherwise, they should have left him out.

Hated: Prime and his new found wolverine like attitude.
Loved: Rampage, Ravage, Sideswipe and I wanted to know more about these characters but their models were cool and the action scenes with them were great.

Most hated: Alice.
She just wound up in the wrong movie when she was supposed to be in Terminator Salvation.
That, and no explanation for Pretenders.
