*BUZZ* You are incorrect sir.

Barricade's emblem is still there in robot mode, however, it's not viewable in robot mode.

Take a look at the toy, then the movie and game models. You see the front fenders? They become his shoulders. When the shoulders flip inside out, the Decepticon emblem goes with them.

So technically, yes. He does carry the Decepticon symbol in robot mode, no you can't see it. So it does look like it disappears into nothingness.

Hell, all things considered, Ironhide has his emblem on his tailgate, which becomes part of his feet and legs, effectively removing them from robot mode as well.

Aside from Prime's trailer (which is of course non existent), all of what you see on the bots goes somewhere and doesn't vaporize, it's just hidden, or integrated.

Because people keep trying to suck the fun out of the movie for us, and we're sick of it. (<- this isn't aimed at you Megatron_Wolf)

I was just at Wal-Mart, and there was a dad with two sons, picking out figures, and the first one that the 5 year old grabbed for was Bumblebee. When his dad asked why, the little boy lit up, giggled, and said "Cuz he peed on the guy daddy" and laughed his little head off.

It actually brought a full fledged tear to my eye. He was so happy and found that so funny, it really got to me. I was happy to see that people of all ages truly can enjoy it, and the pee joke was indeed funny.

It further cemented my belief that the people who hate this movie have absolutely no sense of humor whatsoever. Granted, the film's far from perfect, but if the humorous parts can't get to you, but they make a kid (who's really at the start of all of this) laugh and truly enjoy his experience, well I pity you. Just relax for once and have some fun.

...it's not the end of the world.

Have any of you noticed that Barricade is the only Decepticon who has a visible emblem in either mode?

This is going to bug me until the movie is out on DVD and i can view it frame by frame. These new bots are to damn complicated. The D-Con emblem goes away and the "to punish and enslave" thing goes from the back of the car to his shoulders. I though his shoulders were the front of the car. Im so confused. I think this does fit in with primes trailer. I need to see the in game shots in slow mo again.

Yup!

Great story, thanks for sharing. I was at a Target and TRU yesterday, and I saw so many people at the TF's displays, choosing their figures. Ages ranged from under 10 yrs old to grown-up old farts like myself. It isn't often that I have seen this. Actually, I don't think I have ever seen this. It was really great! A whole new generation enjoying TF's, and older folks getting a chance (and taking it) to relive a little of their childhood. That's really great. :) That's success right there! Spider-Man and PotC toys are still collecting dust, TF's are finding new homes quickly.

Agreed. It seems they take the movie WAY to seriously. And, yes, the film is far from perfect, but it ain't bad either. It's rather good. A very good, solid start. It's also a movie where directors, filmakers have to learn from. Like Shrek and Spider-Man, the sequels were better. Not always true, but still, it can happen.

I'd rather have kids watch and enjoy this than more Pokemon, Yu-ghi-oh, or whatever card-game non-sense cartoons out there with endless babbling.

And, no it isn't the end of the world, but the beginning of a new one! This is just the start, folks! Nothing is perfect. Nothing. And NOTHING will ever be perfect. To expect otherwise is futile and self-destructive. IT's great that the movie came out. It's great that it is doing well-VERY well! And let's hope for more sequels dammit! :)

Edit: Oops, getting to topic, I didn't notice where Barricade's emblems go. I just figured the transformation was complex and fast, we just didn't get to see it. But like it was already said, they're still there, just in a different position.

^ Good! Another voice of reason.

I don't like the idea of TF: Animated, at all. However, I realize there will be an audience for it and they will enjoy it. Why is it my place, or my right to deny them that? It's not, and I won't.

I wish other people would give us the same courtesy when it comes to the movie.

We get it, you hate it, MOVE ON.

Just so evrey one knows im not trying to bash the movie. I liked it and Barricade is my favorite from it. I just want to know where the emblem goes. Does any one know any of the guys from ILM that did the animation or maybe the guy who designed Barricade? The game doesnt help because you can see the panel that the emblem should be on and its gone.

So what you're saying it that if your sense of humor has evolved at all since you were five then you have "no sense of humor". Interesting theory. Lets all bust out the juice boxes and enjoy a rousing episode of Barney.

I dont care about the other dcons. Barricade had one visible and then it goes away. The thing is that the panel it should be on is on top of his shoulder and its not there from what i can see. I dont know why but its really bothering me. At this rate no one will ever know.

Ironhide: Tailgate (which becomes his feet and lower legs)

Jazz: On his pelvis, like a belt buckle. (Cannot confirm if this is on the actual movie cgi model itself.)

Ratchet: One on each of his doors. (Driver's and passenger side.)

No. I'm saying there's nothing wrong with enjoying a different, and decidedly less than mature humor from time to time. If you can't enjoy that along with sarcasm, slapstick, etc then you really don't have a sense of humor, or I should say a well developed one. A lot of people like all aspects of humor and because of that, they can fully enjoy this movie.

Either way, it's on you, not me, so I'm not going to worry about it much anymore. I found it terrifically entertaining, you didn't, bully for you.

Whoopity doo and all that jazz.

And yet, we often see you insulting those that did like the movie more often than we attack those that hated the movie. Instead of "I didn't like the humour" we're more often hearing something like "The jokes are insulting and people should be ashamed for laughing". Even if that is not your literal words or your intention, that's how it turns out. How do you expect to have your opinions respected if you don't respect the opinions of others?
