If there's a death, I hope it serves the story rather than the need to have a death just to show it's "for keeps". Jazz's death could have been handled a LOT better in the first movie. While he does go out like a hero, defending the humans and his comrades from Megatron, I would have preferred his sacrifice to have meant something in defeating Megatron. It wasn't as poorly handled as a lot of the deaths in the original movie, but it was no Dinobot, either.

Ironhide. Ratchet will not die as he is a repairer.They won't touch BB and OP. If you read the prequel, Ironhide said Ratchet is too important to go out to fight

Optimus,Jazz should back from the dead and kill Optimus,Movie Optimus sucks hardcore,so then Ratchet is leader and the Autobot beat the Decepticoncs.In other words Jazz gets revenge on Optimus.

actually in the movie prime says jazz is the 2nd in command, so if prime dies, jazz is the new leader by rank. from the autobots from the 1st movie, i think it would be ironhide. bumblebee already has earned his battle scars, ratchet is too important, jazz is "dead" and prime is way too important. we all know prime will die eventually though, just not this movie
