There have been some previous Transformers based on A-10s but usually they were the small and simplified. I think TF:Cybertron's Wing Saber was the first "full sized" TF based on an A-10 even though some artistic liberties are used for the aircraft mode.

Is this what Powerglide was modelled on?

The USMC's Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle. USMC website for EFV
Description from the EFV site:The EFV is a self-deploying, high-water-speed, armored amphibious vehicle capable of seamlessly transporting Marines from Naval ships located beyond the visual horizon to inland objectives. While providing the speed and maneuvering capabilities to operate with the main battle tank on land, current obstacles to the landing force, oceans, lakes and rivers, can be used by the EFV as high speed avenues of approach and maneuver. The EFV is an armored, fully tracked infantry combat vehicle that will be operated and maintained by a crew of three Marines, and have a troop capacity of 17 Marines with their individual combat equipment.

I think VW and Porsche is the only one with the Anti War stance I dont think the others give a crap How many R rated film have had BMW's and Benzedphysucks wrote:1Big\"F\"ingRayOfSunshine wrote:A mini cooper that when transformed was human size
Mini, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, or any other German car most likely will nto be involved in these movies unless it's like they did with the Saleen Mustang and they are not called by their brand name. I'm sure we are all aware of the VW negativity of having their Bug involved due to "War Machines." Call me Captain Obvious.

I personally would love to see a Dodge Charger as a Transformer.

Right there with yeah on that.
That would make for a kickin' Transformer.

It would fit as a sort of .5 prequel since Bay is placing Megs on earth millions of years prior to the others following. They could land in that timeframe. We would have trains and they would rock.
Astrotrain would be a great addition as well, but I'd think really difficult to pull off based on actual vehicle sizes.
Isn't wreckage close to the type of vehicle as the amphibious type listed here? At least the same body syle. I've not been a fan of those (CD Red Alert, G2 Soundwave). They just seem kind of boxy.

I think your referring to Evolutions: Hearts of Steel. Very cool concept.
Lamborghini Enzo's = Runabout and Runamuck
And a whole lot more.
