I wouldn't mind if some of the cooler Action Master *characters* got transforming figures for the first time, like Rad and Slicer.

Or, it would be cool if some Micromaster characters got bigger, articulated figures for the first time. I love the Autobot Battle Patrol (military vehicles), so I would love to see them as voyager-sized figures.

However, I doubt we will see any of these things.
I think Hasbro will be mainly focusing on characters originally released in 1984 & 1985, as well as a few movie/post-movie characters.

But while I wouldn't mind some G1 characters that had originally had crappy or gimmicky figures getting a modern release with a decent figure for the first time, conversely, I would NOT like to see crappy or gimmicky figures from G2 get better figures. G1 covers 8 years and, probably, what, 500 characters? So between G1 and Beast Wars (and "neo" G1, like War Within), there really are enough characters to keep Hasbro busy for, like, a *decade* into the future, without needing to use any other lines.

Oh, another thing I don't want is Energon/Universe Downshift repainted into Wheeljack. The figure is already good enough to serve as a Wheeljack, BUT its not as good a figure as the figures in the Classics line, so I would SO LOVE IT if Wheeljack got the official Classics treatment. They could repaint him into Slicer, like I mentioned earlier.

What I'm REALLY hoping for are finally getting appropriately sized figures of G1 mini-bots, like Bumblebee and Cliffjumper were released as deluxe-sized figures, so they fit in better with the rest of the Autobot Cars, like Mirage.
I would love for Brawn, Gears, Windcharger, and Beachcomber to be released as cool deluxe-sized figures, too, and Huffer, Cosmos, Powerglide, Seaspray, and Warpath to get cool voyager-sized figures. Like we saw with prototype Cosmos, they really can be awesome if the designers finally stop thinking of them as minibots and give them figures that are sized appropriately based on their alt forms.

Oh, and I vote for a good, new version of the Stunticons, too. I would love it if the 4 cars were deluxe-sized, so they fit in with the other deluxe-sized cars in the Classics line, and "Motormaster" was at least voyager-sized, so he could stand toe-to-toe with Classics Prime.

Yeah, I know, this has turned into more of a "What I want in Classics/Universe" wishful-thinking post than a "What I DON'T want in Classics/Universe," but I couldn't help myself. :P

No damned repaints from other lines. Classics Devastator my suprisingly well-toned ass.

I do however, DEMAND a Blaster VS Soundwave two-pack as a general release.

Remember my oath...

If Hasbro ever releases a Blaster VS Soundwave two-pack in the Classics line, I will stop punching kittens for fun.

I don't want to see a classics version of shockwave... because I believe they'll screw it up!! Megatron was nice, but his altmode was a freaking Nerf gun.. orange dart already inserted if you view the orange safety tip that is..

I have no doubt that if Shockwave were to be redone, he'd probably be horrible...
I know this is gonna sound bad, so I'm warning you now..

No more Magnus.

Let's have Ultra Magnus this time please.

Still, they have said that's on the cards somewhere...

Uncontrolled repaints. Get some new moulds in there to add value and generate more interest. So far so good. Seeker and UM repaints are a given though.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

Shockwave was a bright purple, unrealistic lasergun to start with. Why would they have to "ruin" him to get him to pass US toy laws?

Actually, a Classics Shockwave would be very cool. He is a unrealitic lasergun.

I always thought Shockwave would be cool as some sort of stationary cannon, perhaps something that another Decepiton could jump on the back of and fire away. The flying lasergun thing never seemed like a good idea.

Plus the only time you ever saw shockwave being used in gun form by anyother transformer was during the episode were bruticas picked him up blasted all the drones with him. Otherwise he was just a stationary cannon standing on platform.

I am eternally hopefull that Brawn and Warpath will receive Classics toys. They stand with Ironhide and Jazz as my favorites, and neither of them have ever received any reissue whatsoever(No. I refuse to count X-Brawn). I suspect this has to do with the generic nature of their names, but, come on, slap Autobot on the front and be done with it. Though Warpath would be more amusing as "Pow! Warpath."

I'd have to agree with getting Shockwave as my number one, but then Omega Supreme would be number 2 for the big guys.

As for the deluxes, I'd really like to see Warpath, Pipes, and some Headmasters. It wouldn't really be much of a stretch to make Siren, Nightbeat and Hosehead fit the deluxe scale. Same for the Targetmasters.

But please, no Powermasters. I liked Getaway, Joyride and Slapdash, but the engine sticking out sucked. And making them necessay for them to transform, see Armada, really was a bad idea.
Check out my sales thread, plenty of Generations, and Reveal the Shield figures for sale!!

I'm kind of hoping they stick more to the early characters, versus post-movie, but I do think it would be cool to see an updated, well-articulated, non-chunky Galvatron. And make him a Voyager or Ultra class so I can actually afford him. And no electronics please.
